For all the porpz owners out there was on the news 2nite here in SA saying he doesnt have 100% confidence going into contests as he still worries about his 'suspect' shoulder but will continue to try and find his old form..... what does that mean???

Windigo

That he isn't confident in his shoulder.

I wouldn't be either.

matt1985

Hopefully after a few more games he grows in confidence and goes at the contest 100%. It would be hard being injured for so long, and to be finally back playing again. The poor bloke is probably worried of being injured again and could well ruin his career?

Justin Bieber

Someone knock him on the shoulder injure him ;D Sounds cruel, but needs to burn 30% of people ;D

MGK1

A lot of players don't go in as hard after a bad injury or a continuous run with injury.
It will take more than 2 games to get over this psychological state. He will be fine.

yeah i definantly wouldnt want to have him after seeing that your more likely to get injured if you dont go in 100% to a contest then if you go half hearted so yeah i hope he just sits of the contests and scores shower but not get injured you cruel bastrd! :P

Ziplock

means nothing. After my various injuries, after recovery I always get paranoid about reinjuring the ankle/knee/wrist/ whatever.

???  your playing a game of AFL zip not flying a kite at the local park, obviously if you have anything in the back of your mind let alone an injury your not going to perform at your peak

Slashers

Means he's a person. There's guys out there RUNNING AROUND ON reconstructed knee's that have no choice.
If I was Brenton, I don't think I'd want to hear that!
And before you go.... "Oh, but better they have him out there NOT playing 100% than not have him out there at all".
I'd rather have him out there going in hard for as long as his weak little shoulder will allow. If he makes it though, great, job done. If not then he gets replaced with someone else that can go in hard.

Ziplock

sorry I should have identified- it's not going to change anything new- he's clearly performing decently atm, despite his psychological hangups, his concern about his shoulder wont be anything new.

I meant it meant nothing in the sense that it doesn't mean he'll get injured soon.

Rommas

Couldn't care less when he pumps out scores between 60-80

It means he shares the same opinion about himself as the rest of us. ;)

upthemaidens

hope he doesnt go in to contests hard,, just stay on the outside nice and safe and pick up 70 points a game, i'll be happy.
the good thing is even if he does get injured. he's so cheap it really wont hurt much, just cost a trade.

yorgis

just excusing his ave performances so far, trying to scare everyone into thinking the crows will be an awesome power

this year. i mean c'mon, comparing tex and tippy to some of the great tandem forwards ever last week. dunstall /brereton,

roo/kosi, modra.....forget it. now they are trying to compare spudtrenko to cyril  fmd. but seriously porps should be fine
