granted good point, just warning against scaring off new members, ask most people what they think of the feedback and "personalities" you will encounter at DT Talk, just saying.

Maybe offewr them the tip on searching rather than call them a muppett and rant on thier thread  :o

Also 99% of their threads have Broughton in the title so really? you need to read it? then complain its about the guy in the title?

17 broughton threads on the FIRST flowerING PAGE is excessive. I have a right to be angry. Think of it this way colli- is it worse to scare off the new members, or to piss off all the older ones that in essence keep the forums running?

Colliwobblers

THATS what i am saying they have a TERRIBLE reputation.

There are a lot of tools on there and NO help...

FF and all of you senior guys are great  DO NOT get me wrong, and this site is amazingly helpful.

JUST suggesting we keep it that way...

Feel free guys to press the "report to moderator" button guys if there gets too many duplicate threads.... It annoys me also!

Ziplock

did you see the SC board last night os? :'(

Colliwobblers

ZIP you are funny  ;D

trust me i'm not having a go at anyone least of all NOT YOU who put up a VERY detailed and helpful thread.

just trying to put another angle on an issue that YOU KNOW will happen every week when the next SPUD needs to be traded out of every cookie cutter team....

It is GOOD to set these guys on the right track so we don't have to put up with it all next time and the next time and ...

BUT - imagine your a new muppett on FF for the first time. You have no idea what your doing YOU need help.

You don't know SEARCH you don't look for info you POST....

You put up your first thread - BROUGHTON -

Unfortunatlely for you it's the 37th Broughton thread for the day....

You get told off 7 times boo-ed 12 and called a muppet 6

welcome to FF  ;D

that's all I am saying  ;)

Can't you just merge them all into 1, think i've noticed you've done that before?

As does Dr Dreamteam every week after handing out his advice  ;)

Ricochet

I made this thread because its insulting to those who actually put time and effort into posts/threads and providing decent information for others, only to see people ignore these threads and post the same question over and over. When all they have to do is look past the first page and make their own decisions based on this information. Surely they will gain more benefit from contributing to existing threads. And for those newer members that got boo'd or attacked, at least now they know to look a little harder next time. Sometimes learning the hard way is the best way.

I'd rather take Dream Team advice from this doctor...

Having said that, he did outscore me last round. :-[

Colliwobblers

Fair enough Ricochet yours is a VERY good point - the insulting part, it is lazy and rude to just put up a new thread and offer nothing to those who have poster the same thing earlier.

DONT get me wrong I am not saying anyone is wrong to be frustrated or set these guys straight

Just wanted to put the idea of taking it easy on "genuine newbies: out there :)

Again like Zips thread yours is in essence helping these guys out on how to use the forum, so i definately want having a go at you or anyone else here

just don't scare away the newbies racking up hits on the site which earns it $$

I'm thinking of the good of the site not defending muppetts :)
