Ive heard something about that Clinton Young is injured, if anyone could tell me if he is and how long he is out for that would be great

scottydude182

guerra has to go, i have had him last 2 yrs, this side seems strong but a few injury risks, chapman why do people still pick him? hille is iffy! is it jack or nick riewoldt in forward line? if it is nick im waiting he will be the first premium i trade into my side. his pre season is going to be very interrupted and should drop in price.

Anzac

its Nick Riewoldt, Guerra should be better next year I reckon but I'm open to ideas

The reason we pick Chappy is because he can pump out big scores every week and while he gets injured a bit, his price lets us trade him to any we want really

Yeah i agree that Hille is a bit iffy, he mite be swapped for ottens

scottydude182

kreuzer, get on him! also i think this is his third yr and we all know the rules! trust me hold out on nicky r if he doesnt have a preseason! he is my favourite player and im a saints supporter so ill be hanging out....at the very least his price wont go up!

Your midfield looks a bit underdone to me with only 2 premiums in there and then 3 mids in Swift, Young, Palmer.  I think you are going with the idea of 3 mids that possibly can become keepers.  Thats a big risk to have 3 "possible keepers" in your midfield, especially seeing as that is the easiest area for players to score 100+.

Palmer will play every game so the chances of him becoming a keeper I believe are greater than Swift or Young.

Anzac

yeah thanks guys,

Valkorum, i think Young could become someone better if I do trade Roo down to someone else also cause Young is supposedly injured.  I reckon Swift is going to have a good year next year, he's got Kerr and Dalziell now to take the main taggers from the other teams so he should be able to run free and do well.

Scotty im not to sure about Kruezer as with Warnock coming in next year, it could reduce Kruezers time in the ruck, but hopefully if that happens he'll go forward more.  A bit of a 50/50 at this stage but it is his third year so yeah

valkorum

I actually do like the look of Swift in the middle.  Kerr, Priddis, Dalziel all ahead of him with regards to getting a tag, but I think its a little too risky having all 3 of them.

I don't know how much money you have left at the moment, but if you were looking to downgrade the Voldt then a possible suggestion would be:

Voldt > Higgins +$80k
Young > Best $320k mid (plus whatever money you have left)

Just an idea.

Anzac

cheers Valkorum for that, ive traded Young to Trent Cotchin at this stage, the third year rule comes into effect for him and he should average about 80 next year and traded Roo to Higgins, i still reckon Higgo can improve his average to over 100,

so cheers for that mate

valkorum

I personally am undecided with Cotchin.  Your right with the 3rd year rule but his previous 2 years he has been plagued by injury.  From all accounts he is a very good player and if can string 20 - 22 games next season then you are a reasonable chance of getting a keeper.  Definitely worth monitoring

I am also hoping that the rumor of Higgins spending a bit more time in the middle that his numbers will get to the 100+ next season.
