Here is my team:
NOTE: Players in Bold are my main worries...

DEF: Deledio, Birchall, Suckling, Broughton, Lake, Golby, Ellis (Morris, Darley)

MID: Ablett, Rockliff Jelwood, Palmer, Magner, Shiel (McDonald, Neale)

RUC: Cox, Giles (Redden, Stephenson)

FWD: Franklin, Goodes, Robinson, Martin, Sidebottom, Callinan, A.Kennedy (D.Smith, Pfieffer)

Am currently thinking Broughton --> Hargrave & Callinan --> Cornes....thats hoping that all 3 of my non-playing rooks are named this week (anyone know how far away they are from getting a game?). Thoughts and help with which trades I should make?

Wow thats a pretty unlucky starting side man.

Honestly I think you need to stick with Broughton, I dont think you can afford to trade out a non-injured premium.

My first move would be to get in Bugg for Darley (obviously only if Darley isnt named this week)

And then I think you should either trade 5fa out for Milera, or Golby out for Hargrave, or Palmer out for Ebert, Hargrave (DPP), Cornes (DPP).

Diesels Pups

You'll have to stick with Broughton(I am :-[)
Lachie Neale is close to getting a game and Darley would have to be close too wouldn't he?
So with that i would maybe trade Golby out for Hargraves and then ahhhhhhh, crap!, having enough trouble trying to sort my own shower so what would i know. Good luck! ;)

You really missed out on players selected...

I would of really picked God over either Suckers or Birchall ???

I'd go Neale to Greene & Pfieffer to Milera this week.

You could do worse than something like Palmer => Cornes. That'd let you move someone like Robinson into your mids and the DPP will give you a hell of a lot more flexibility than what you've got now.

Tools,

You've certainly got a few rooks that didn't work out for you.

Round three is the time where you're guaranteed to make some money from rooks so I'd be inclined to get rid of your non-playing starters and replacing them with blokes on the bubble once teams are named.

I'm assuming you don't have enough $$$ in the bank to updgrade any of you mid-pricers.

That beng the case, you'll likely make more money keeping Broughton or Palmer and copping the loss and trading Pfeiffer --> Milera or Neale --> Greene than you will in trading out your mid-pricers --> other mid-pricers.

Money isn't everthing, and it doesn't equal points immediately, but it sets you up in the long term.

I'd suggest you try and identify what you want your team to look like at the end of the season in terms of which are your keepers - and work back from there.

If you think Hargrave will be a keeper, the by all means trade him in.  If you don't think he'll stay in your team then you're probably just burning a trade.

I think you might have a tough DT year ahead buddy. I dunno about your thoughts on Broughton, but I'm keeping him. I think it's best to get rid of Golby as soon as you can along with Palmer (who is a downright spud). Callinan, I don't really know, keep him for the time being I saw. The rookies in bold haven't had a game yet, I guess it's your fault for not picking better rookies. Not much you can do but keep trading and hope for the best, might be a rough few rounds ahead.

Good Luck. ;)

PS, don't worry about your bye structure (if you previously did) because your team needs so serious fixing

would'nt start trading broughts, palmer, nor callinan just yet, golby may get back to his nab form. really i think you need some

rookies that will score AND make some cash. darley >>> bugg and neale >>> greene
