Thinking of switching Deledio to defense and replacing Golby with Brad Ebert.

Swapping Wingard for Greene simply because he seems like he has a bigger upside

Thoughts?

P.S What ever happened to Dan Connors? He played a few minutes in the NAB, Surely he is Richmonds best 22

Why are you trading out Golby? I don't have him but that just seems impatient.
Wingard to Greene is a decent one I'll admit.

And for Dan Connors if Miller, King and Daniel Jackson get games they should play Connors.

On Golby, From what I have seen so far of Ebert I like, I think he will become one of Ports best midfielders and has potential premium quality. His price will go up this week without a doubt.

Golby was a risk early, a last minute decision to replace Connors with him when he didnt line up round 1.

If it wasn't for the 100 V. adelaide I would never have thought about it.

The F.A.R.K.

even if ebert is ports best mid he will only av 95 which doesnt justify his price you would have to trade him he isnt a keeper

wingard is a freak id hold on for that one if he gets up for this week

from what ive heard there have been questions about wingard's fitness levels... also the way he throws himself at the ball is a bit of a turn-off for potentia owners... by all means it is great to see players have courage like that, but for a DT coach it can be rather nerve-racking, as is with Joel Selwood- i cringed when he went down on monday arvo....

but im not sure whether its worth trading him to greene just yet... why not wait a few more weeks and you could get J-Mac or a zorko in after generating a bit of cashy from wingard...

the reason connors doesn't get a game is because he is a right dickhead and can't stay off the booze! haha but he could be getting a game soon after king and helbig's injuries- he will be fighting against addam maric and webberly though...

Most of these trades I'm seeing are purely impatient trades, I dunno what people expected from Golby. To come out and smash 110+ every week. It's been two weeks and a 77 is respectable, more than Shaw and 40 odd against some blues small FWD's in a game where the DT god Rocky got 50 odd and only one player tonned it up.

I'm tired of threads on Golby, Green & Broughton TBH.

With all due respect F.A.R.K, I would gladly fork out just over 300k for a player that would average 90+

The only reason this appears a knee jerk reaction is because it was a knee jerk reaction that got me into this Golby mess in the first place, One little hundred and I went weak at the knee's.

I usually stick on the safe side of things and only really took risks on Caddy, Kruezer and McIntosh, and the fact that the last two are proven DT struck down by injury that leaves just Caddy and Golby as true risks.

I like to think I watch a bit of footy and although i'm no Kevin Sheedy or even Damien Drum I can put the basics together, sure Golby scored 77 against a pathetic melbourne outfit but had it not been for a rush of points in the third quarter it could have quite possibly been closer to a 45 or a 50.

I will be cutting my losses and it is a gamble and he could come very good and start churning out the results once Merrett drops back and Brown inspires some confidence but my hand is forced early because Ebert will rise in price and rise heavily.

Yep, most of the guys people wana trade out will probaly slay8) it next week, all pumping out 120+ :D.

I dont think trading playing rooks out is the best either unless its dickson/hall 20ish scores that are killing u.
