Adelaide
Douglas to miss 1 week (hamstring)
Henderson to test shoulder
Martin, Symes, Jaensch, Lyons, Johnston and Shaw were all "ultra" impressive in SANFL

Brisbane
JBrown is back!
Simon Black (fractured hand) is out
Green and Harwood have been in form in the reserves
Drummond is a couple of weeks away

Carlton
Jamison and Duigan will again be close to a call up
Mclean and Walker are also in the mix, Walker most likely to be given one more week

Collingwood
Maxwell, Wellingham, Wood and Johnson will push for selection
Didak will make a comeback through the VFL and Nathan Brown will be given more time
Tarrant (calf) out for 4-5 weeks

Essendon
Ok here we go...
Hille with a calf injury, Lovett-Murray with a hammy, Myers with a Hammy and Lonergan with a suspension will all miss.
Hooker, Hocking and Bellchambers should come back in

Freo
Mundy is under "strong consideration"
Nick Lower, Van Berlo, Roberton, Pitt and Silvagni will also be considered

Geelong
Scarlett still out (suspension)
Schroder, Stringer and Horlin-Smith were all among the best in the VFL

GC
Bock will play
Stanley is also available and Tape will face a test

GWS
"Sheedy believes some of his youngsters need a rest and there's no doubt the likes of Will Hoskin-Elliott, Curtly Hampton and Jacob Townsend have played a lot of tough football over the past eight weeks. Adam Treloar, Matthew Buntine and Taylor Adams could be in line for a debut against West Coast."

Hawks
Luke Hodge and Puopolo will face tests
Boumann may be considered for a recall

Melbs
Moloney and Martin under injury clouds but hope to be available.
Couch and Tapscott have both played well in the VFL
Davey may be called back up

North
Ziebell should return
Black and Hansen bother played well in the VFL and should come into consideration
as should Delaney
Thomas (knee) is in doubt

Port
Robbie Gray is back
"Jarrad Redden was no match for Bomber Patrick Ryder last Saturday and, with Brent Renouf starting to find some form in the SANFL, the Power could add another dedicated ruckman to the side"
Wingard should be ok to play
Pfeiffer, Phillips, Salopek and Brett Ebert all pushing selection

Richmond
King (knee) will miss, A.Maric likely to replace him
Vickery's continued poor form will put him under the spotlight with Derickx likely to replace him, although Derickx needs to do more in the VFL

Saints
Polo has served his suspension
Peake played will in the VFL as did Wilkes kicking 5 goals

Sydney
LRT is out with White and Pyke being possible replacements
"There remains a question mark over Shane Mumford, who pulled out on the morning of the game against Freo with a stiff back, so Mark Seaby should continue to play."

Eagles
Embley (shoulder) will miss
Also suggests resting key players
any of Butler, McGinnity, Weeden, Brennan, Sheppard, Stevens or Newman could come in

Bulldogs
May go three ruckman against Saints with Cordy pushing for selection
Gilbee may have suffered a minor knee injury
Sherman and Tutt were in the best for the Seagulls

Justin Bieber

Mumford seems to be getting close to getting out of my team.

Note that the "in the mix" stuff is author's opinion... With all the Adelaide players who are "ultra impressive", I would take this with a grain of salt the size of Tasmania!

FWIW, I don't think Mummy is in such a bad shape... check this: http://www.sydneyswans.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/7106/newsid/132721/default.aspx
Also in that is good news about Mitchell (in DT terms), back in around 3 weeks = DOWNGRADE TARGET!

Mr.Craig

I read that Mummy statement as saying "Seaby will play in tandem with Mumford or will continue to be an emergency as protection against another late out". It's a bit cryptic but I don't think they were necessarily writing him off for this week.

Mr.Craig

I think those calls on the GWS players might be spot on.

Possibly Wilson and Hombsch the other candidates for a break?

Shiel may be rested... he's still underdone  :-X

talking about Shiel, any mention about Liam shiels from hawthorn? he was sorely missed against Geelong! close to one of our best players in wet conditions! or gilham and young?

You serious, he has played two games in three weeks, he needs a rest after that?

Pretty sure he means, dropped to the 2's to gain more fitness, not actually rested.

Bones Bombers

Tape will face a test... on his face!

McRooster

McCarthy walked the boundary for the Powers entire training session - Simon Philips has to be considered after kicking 5 majors against the reigning SANFL premier
