The Silent Partner

Out he gets Sloane more of a ballwinner he is a good sort but more in and under get the thing cant see him getting to the status we all would like. I dont have him in Dt but was strongly considering for supercoach too sporadic which just hurts your overall score and your mind.

Quoteseriously get flowered mate.... you can say flowering dustin martin is a flowering midfielder coz he plays flowering mids but no one will flowering buy him in the flowering mids will they you shower twat danger is doing very well for a fwd and you are the first showerhead to complain about him so get flowered and listen to everyone else danger is doing flowering fine and we dont need you flowering shower up and trying to convince us otherwise, if you dont like him that much then flowering jump off the ship

Well, first things first. How about you FARK the flower off. Great name and super witty - you watch flowerhead Newman on the Footy Show. Good effort.

Also, Danger should be playing mid and can be picked up as a fwd. That's how you win DT games toolbox, by picking up fwds who play mid. If you think 89 is gun against GCS for Rodney, then good luck to you. A question was posed for Danger owners who are fearing another year of letdowns - if you have nothing to constructive to contribute then.....

FARK the flower off and eat a steaming bucket of shower. Dustin Martin played quality oppostion in the first two rounds and has shown a hell of a lot more than Danger over the journey.

Andrew

I kinda wish I had Dangerfield instead of Martin or Sidebottom, or even Goodes...

The Silent Partner

its just the price tag jading everyones opinions

Doyle

Stick with him for a few more rounds, see if the pattern changes and then make the decision. Early trades can go very wrong sometimes.

a) FARK, I counted around 13 disguised, erm, words... And Cam, don't worry too much about our buddy FARK. When I first encountered peeps like FARK and Whatlez, I thought they were the biggest tools in the (metaphorical) hardware store, but you get to know (and get used to) these guys.  ;D
b) Danger is passing for me, and I would expect him to improve over the year, regardless of opposition. Same could be said for Martin, although atm I'm happier with D-Field. But then i'm expecting D-Mart to improve to 90-95, and D-Field to 85-90. There's a strange, perverse symmetry there

The Grundles

Keep the faith in danger...lets all calm down its only round 2 and he has performed just fine for a fwd.  He has the ability to be a keeper fo sho but its simply a matter of time before we see what he really has to offer

89 is decent for a forward, Danger named centre both rounds and spending time in mids. With his talent, he should be tonning up as a bare minimum against GCS. And should be tonning up against a potential bottom 8 side like the Dogs at home.

Is he gonna tease or please this year? I'm paranoid he's gonna keep being a burst player which is great to watch but shower for DT. Could be flowering wrong though...

Rough day at the office FARK ? :P

Haha, if you picked Dangerfield (I didnt) I definitely would not be jumping off at this stage...

harsh, but hilarious hahaha ;D

danger, pav, Goodes, martin and even Sidebottom are all slightly underperforming at the moment, so is shaw and broughts in defence, mummy and luey in the ruck and even Dane swan in the middle. MORAL OF THE STORY: give your premos time. they're not given that price tag for a reason ;)

tor01doc

Yes they are, Tmurph.

Windigo

Don't trade him. FWD's didn't score all too flash this week.

I just dont flowering understand how people think danger is underperforming after two flowering weeks. You are not a good dter if you are going to trade him that is flowered. 89 and 78 from a 350k c/f is decent. Just coz you play shower teams does not mean you rack up the dt points, for example joel selwood always plays decent against top teams. Danger is a hard at the ball player he will score well against the hawks, geelong and pies so no need to stress. He has been used in the fwd a bit more at the moment because that is just where they need him. With douglas out a midfield spot opens up danger comes onto the wing permanently and matty wright or kerridge come into the team on a half foward. Danger will lift dont excpect a consistent string of 90s from him he might get a 75 one week and a 100+ the next. The good thing about danger is he is always looking to push foward so if he does play mids he could get 25 touches and some flowering goals.

WTF!
seen threads about people wanting to out martin and was like holy hell! now people want to outs danger?
look back in history and think how many fwds average 100 or over ever year?
85av for a 350k forward is mint.

non injury induced Sideways trading is dumb

stew42

Well, I didn't want to be Captain Obvious... :P

But yeah, trading D-Field is dumb, and it is also dumb to be expecting 90+ from all your non-rook fwds

True! But if you suddenly realise you can move them to the midfield and trade up to a true premo, DO IT!
I dont have Martin anymore I have Mitchell!
Pretty happy with Danger for his price tho :)

im a crows fan and watched the game on the weekend. for someone who is hard at it and can play inside midfielder, dangerfield had almost no tackles, which is strange for him, and i think was predominantly the reason for his lower scores. last year he averaged 3.4 tackles a game. i don't know why he didn't tackle as much, just an off day at the office i guess. add those 3 tackles back into his game and boom he's scored 90. i wouldn't be too worried about his scoring yet and i think he will improve with every game. trading him now is pretty much stupid sorry to say and will cost you in the long run.

just my 2 cents
