Shaw --> Hargrave and Pfeiffer --> Greene means I'm:

A complete muppet - you should never downgrade a premium or sideways trade a rookie.

Showing remarkable insight - given it will net me some $140k allowing me to go rookie to Swan next week

keep Shaw, you're getting exactly what was advertised on the box. A backman capable of running huge scores but of also being shut down by a cardboard cut out of a tag.

I'll be looking to bring him in as an early target based on a likely price slump.

Sound to me like youve already made your mind up brucey, you just need to convince yourself by everyones comments. If it feels like the right thing to do, then do it. It may work, it may not.

I was just saying, personally id keep shaw.  But different strokes for different blokes hey :P

Or Shaw > Clarke then pocket 300k and #winning.

I think if you don't have Clarke, it's a pretty safe trade getting him in. That's a heap of cash to bank for a player scoring the same and who has positionally a more DT-friendly game.

That being said, you had to expect Shaw to be up & down when you started with him...
