So far i'm not to convinced with Dylan Shiel's performance, i know he didn't have an ideal pre-season but Toby Greene seem's to be pumping out some big numbers.

Would you hold onto Shiel & give him more time to find his feet? Or trade him to Greene?

Madsnake

I have Shiel aswell and this trade didn't even cross my mind..
It's not a bad idea but Shiel is going to be a superstar and i'm not a fan of wasting trades so this is not for me but could work out well for you..

teatowel

Shiel will come good, hold onto him

Bak2Form

shiel is only warming up, this is his pre season. he will only score better the longer you keep him

Andrew

Yeah I don't think it'd be a wise trade, particularly if you don't have to play Shiel.

colmullet

shiel will only improve and by all reports has a pretty high ceiling

Holz

i would tip shiel to out average greene for the rest of the season

Windigo

I'm going Greene with all this Greene talk.

Might have to look up his odds for the brownlow.

Give him time...shiel is going to be a jet and his scoring will definately improve in the coming weeks. I am defs holding onto him  8)

People have to keep in mind you only have 2 trades a week so a rookie that will take 2 weeks longer to peak isn't a bad thing makes deciding who to trade in much easier

fertalong

By the time you upgrade/downgrade them, they will both be the same price anyway, and you'll have burnt a trade for nothing.

Windigo

Yep, getting in Greene will cost you two trades. I've said this like a million times.

If Greene stinks it for a 40, then he will top out too soon to get a good downgrade option coming through and a fallen premium hasn't fallen enough for you to pick him up.

Very good point..

I am in the same boat but am not willing to burn a trade this early in the season as trades will be gold later in the season when injuries hit and other teams are running out of trades as they have traded after round 2 for the sake of it.

Doyle

Just keep Shiel. As long as he keeps scoring decent it's all good. Find some else to trade (e.g. McDonald if you have him) or don't trade at all...
