Thread was done on BF and seems like a good idea.

Name 2, 3 or 4 players in the same position and similar price that you can't split and want people's opinion on which one to pick. If you can, give each players price.
Answer the person's above you before posting your players.

I'll kick it off:

Adcock @ 469K or Pratt @ 431K

Hippo

Adcock for me... my reasoning can be seen on his page here... the short i think he will have a season like he did when he avg 110 he certainly finished the season off in the same manner as in 06

Armitage or Rioli

Justin Bieber

Rioli for me. He has cemented his spot in the hawks team while armitage hasn't with the saints. He has shown some glimpses of what a star he can be but only played 3 games this year. With saints new signing (peake and lovett in the mids) don't know if armitage will get much game time if any at all.

Andrew Carrazzo 457,200, Harry Taylor 415,600, Jarrod Harbrow 450,900 or Joel Macdonald 425,500

fyfebe

I'd probably go Carrazzo, mainly because I can see Waite being used up forward a bit with the lack of Fev, which could let Carrazzo settle into his usual half back role.

Porplyzia, Higgins or LeCras.

ronl

Tough one - I think I'd go Higgins, has a bit of the X-factor about him, exciting player, makes things happen.  Le Cras may get a lot more attention now that he's shown what he can do and Porps is a great kick but just doesn't quite do enough for mine.

Carrazzo, Gilbee, Adcock.

It really depends on what their roles are, if any of those guys can get back to the playing styles where they were scoring 100+ they will be worth considering. Carrazzo might not have as much upside as the others, Gilbee might be on the decline. Harbrow, at a similar price could continue to improve and take on a Gilbee-type role. It basically comes down to watching how they go in preseason how they are used in the nab cup.

Palmer vs Cotchin

hibbo

@ ronl - Probably go Adcock, was scoring very well before he did his knee, and seems like he'll get more midfield time in 2010.

@ ozzy - I'd go with Palmer, Cotchin is still such an unknown on how well he can score, IMO Palmer is way underpriced for what he can average - will be a perfect cash-cow or maybe even a keeper.

Torress

palmer for me over cotch - but cotch's 1st full pre season i reckon he'll average 80+ (priced according to a 60 average atm =330k)

okay - pavlich 534k
        - J.Brown 530k
         - Didak 564k

to complement buddy, roo and lids

Im going Brown all the way. I just feel that now they have fev Jonno should be able to push up the ground a bit more and stay out at CHF and as a result should be able to take a few more grabs and maybe ever a couple of tackles. A bit like Roo and Kosi worked last year.

Austin wonamerri 175k   v   anyone around the 200k mark
Maybe setanta, shultz, shoenmakers and the likes. Sorry its a bit general but im a bit knackered.

Torress

austin might be an okay cash cow this year if he is up and running at start of season - who knows how him and jurrah will gel together.

around that price maybe veszpremi 237k
or andrew walker (big uncertainty there) at 241k

prob austin is best bet or rookies

Ball 461k    Boak 444k      burgoyne - 433k     kerr - 415k
??????????????????????????????????????

lol! seen posts saying bad things about kerr, he'll get reported for starters i guess!!
but hard ball gets and is effective by foot - gosh he must miss juddy!!!!

ozzy_legend

There aren't really a lot of forward mid-pricers which jump out at me at the moment, it could even be worth starting two rookies there if the likes of trengrove, cunnington, even morabito are eligible.

Back to Pavlich/Brown/Didak, I would choose Pavlich, if he goes back to his forward role where he traditionally scores well. Didak may be overpriced, and Brown usually starts slowly.

@ torress, for me Boak, simply because I have doubts about the other three. They are all worth watching of course.

Kangamagic

Patrick Veszpremi @237k or Chris Mayne @277k

Funny in DT and not SC i recon Kerr this year is quite a good choice. He is only 280k odd and with the likes of dalziell and the rookies of swift, cockie ect. as well as the likes of Lecras and the rest of the third string coming through i think Kerr might just get his MOJO back and flowing.

So tell me, DO YOU FEEL THE MOJO!!!!!!

(what a terrible post, sorry had my work do tonigth, hearts there but, eh that'll do).
