Will be trading out Broughton for

Hurn (BE of 5 and next game is v GWS) (shorter term stratergy for points and mid range value increase)
Bugg (longer term stratergy as there will be higher value increase)

Who do you think i should bring in?

If I were you and had broughts which i do, I'd consider keeping him. He's prob going to be unique and you save a trade as when he starts to smash it again you'll want him back in... You have a very strong defence anyway. Not sure why you picked ellis and morris over bugg but i wouldnt worry about that now.

two trades i would do:
1. Dickson to Milera
2. Shiel to Green

You'll make more out of Green than Milera or Bugg.

Interesting proposition.  And will have to give it some futher thought. Unfortunatly i am a little tight for cash ($15,900, my bad for not mentioning this) so your suggestions are not available to me.

Probably should have had Bugg.  At the time i felt it was between him and Morris and i recall thinking i already had too many GWS players and that i should get at least one of Ellis or Morris in the Richmond team regularly.

I will need to downgrade someone (probably Broughton) to bring in Milera.

At a break even of 5 I would have thought now would be a good time to get onto him if you were after him.

I think our reasons for looking at him are a little different.  My reasons are:

- To Aviod Broughtons Drop in price
- To obtain Hurns increase over the next couple of weeks
- to maintain a reasonable level of scoring inbetween time
- Upgrade him to a (hopefully established) premo like Birchal.

I could go Broughton to Bugg instead and get more cash but more than likely less points in the next few rounds.

(I am currently 75th, usually would just go Bugg and get the cash for a longer term game (and league success) but being 75th suggests i should place a higher value on earlier points than i usually do.)

Well, you anwer the question then. Is it worth having Hurn over Bugg (extra 30-40 points vs 200k)

in my opinion, (I'm ranked 20K right now) because I always go for more midpricers than I should...

If you keep going this way mate you'll end up ranked 15K. You're going to trade to someone who won't earn you that much money to later upgrade them again.

Doing this you'll run out of trades and plummet fast.

The reason no-one is talking about Hurn is because when someone is so far off the radar 2 games does not put you back on the radar.

Let's take cricket for example, if batter A scores 2 centuries at the start of the summer it does not mean he's a better bat, he may have got lucky and just outperformed his skill level. He might go back to averaging 20 over the rest of his career.

There's no guarantee Hurn will continue, the only reason you'd trade Hurn in is to KEEP him. Trading someone in @ Hurn's price to trade out again is stupid and will cause you to drop rank

In short, trade Hurn in and keep him or not at all.

My advice: wait another week or two on Hurn before making a decision.

Also another thing that I intended to mention: IF YOUR PLAYERS ARE DROPPING IN VALUE IT DOES NOT MATTER IN THE SLIGHTEST. If player b is dropping 100K - does not matter because if you're not selling them their price is irrelevant, it doesn't prevent you from having money to spend, their price is irrelevant, just ride the price.

How long has this guy been around for ...good player yes ..but has he ever been fantasy relevant ?

hasnt proven himself but scoring well, does tend to kill weaker teams. not for me, unless he becomes consistent

Offically the worst trade i have heard so far, shiel to greene is stupid shiel is coming of an injury and should be one of the picks of the season.
