Pavlich in the clear
Waters can accept a reprimand
Lonergan can accept one-match suspension with an early plea
a heap of fines for Collingwood and Tigers for their melee
Redden in the clear for his high contact on Armfield
Tom Lynch in the clear also

PowerBug

so no fear at all. Hopefully no-one has Longeran, although he wouldn't be the worst pick considering the backs so far this year.

MGK1

Redden is lucky to get off, only with the current state of the MRP wouldn't want to see him go. (I don't have him)

Gobsmacked. Thought they would definitely offer him 2 with 1 for a guilty plea. But I guess he wasn't guilty of anything... :-\

PowerBug

So no-one cares that Lonergan is missing a game?? Heartless b.tches :P

Although I'm getting him into my team (probably) this week, think Waters should be banned. He has done the same thing 3 years in a row, which I have seen other players cop weeks for. However, Waters is an eagle, and the tribunal would never dare suspend an eagles player. Hoping one day somebody gets him back and Waters suffers long term brain damage.

im actually really happy with the backs this year with the exception of broughton for me, lids goddard waters hargreave clarke have been great. Just went broughton to eski so all my backs are doing really well.

I hope Waters cops the points, would hate to see him miss the GWS game.

Sorry mate this is the afl dt board, not the netball board. Fair bump to the solar plexis, west coast should challenge to escape the reprimand. Still dirty on the incidental contact with watson last year?

JUKES finally a smart poster.   Its so sick.....an eagles player could commit cold blooded murder and not even face a week.

Beau should be ousted.....but nup, cant do that.

Look at the schedules thus far. Cats have played freo in subi and the hawks at the g.  Hawks have had pies and cats.  Richmond get the top 8 in the first 10 games.

The eagles? Well gee after 2 tough games against the bulldogs and melbourne lol....they travel this week......to GWS!!!!!!

Freo get  to waste their home games on gws and gold coast.....eagles get these games gifted on the road, while facing the good teams at home, to have a chance.

unceramonius

Bairdy its consistency.

Were dirty eagles players get away with FAR MORE than any other team.

If everyteam got the same treatment...NO PROBLEM.

There's more to the season than the first two games. If you look at the draw over the entire 24 rounds you'd find that fremantle infact have a much easier draw than west coast. Furthermore pavlich's hit on malceski was higher than water's and yet he got off without even a reprimand. The eagles are not a historically dirty team, they rarely get reported. if fremantle avoided recruiting players such as headland/farmer/ballantyne/the carr brothers/kickett/solomon they could also claim a much cleaner sheet at the tribunal.

unceramonius

Hmmm....yeah im still dirty on Solomon for his hit on Ling few years back.

But no way was Pavs a reportable offense.  The fact it was even a discussion...shows how soft the game has become.  What was Lonergan reported for?  I watched the game and didnt see any reportable offence...

unceramonius

Ah not tom lonergan lol, phew, was gona say huh.

Oh and schedules may even out, some may not...but gifting a team a truly easy start builds massive confidence.  Gift Richmond that draw, let them go 3-0 and see what happens.  But by the time their schedule "evens" out, whats the point?  They are 3-8 and out of finals contention.

If you are a top 4 side like the eagles were last year, you should be playing the top teams twice each. after this week, they will be top of the ladder....massive percentage, massive confindence going into the hawks game.  Big change from if they had cats...hawks....blues to start and were 0-3.

The thing is that waters was reported because the contact was assessed as negligent, low impact and high. There is no way the contact was low impact, it was a massive hit. However it wasn't high and was within 5m of the ball so it should never have drawn any points, it doesnt matter how hard he hit him so long as the contact wasn't high, it was a fair bump. This is just terrible classification by the tribunal and I have no doubt that if the eagles choose to appeal, the decision would be overturned.

TheHanger

Sam Lonergan (ess) was reported for sling tackle, like Trengove last year
No one has noticed yet i guess
