Pst:- Have you heard of Gary Ablett Jnr. Maybe you could fit him in your team & make him your Captain. Just a thought.

Yakuza

pst..have you heard of pavlich, riewoldt, cox and hayes? as well as upgrading during the year?
Ablett also had some frustrating injuries last season...but thanks for the feedback all the same.

if you insist on having ablett who would you downgrade and then upgrade?
burgoyne to palmer and then ball to ablett?

moiecoute

You don't have to start with Abblett. No doubt he will priced quite high so unless his average greatly increases you would not expect his original price to increase by much. On the flip side it could drop quite a bit from his starting price through injury, bad whether, positional changes....... who knows............

pst, re GAJ, naste, have you noticed this is DT, not SC?

footsteps

Clinton Young is good in theory, but pretty sure he is out for most of the year.

Pst:- Prossy re GAJ:-  I will have in both & if I am lucky I might win another Premiership Placard to go with the one I won this year.

You know what I mean don't you?

Pst:- Merry Xmass

Kangamagic

Well why wouldnt you have GAJ in both DT and SC teams - I am  ;D

The same arguement floats around every year, to GAJ or not to GAJ?

Everyone will have their veiwpoints. Majority will agree he is a fantasy footy machine. I'd like to see a team that has been successful without his services. ( Perhaps in DT but not SC ).

So you either get him from the start ( he is my first pick in both formats ) or you trade him into your side later. But if you get him later this usually involves cashing a cow then upgrading to GAJ. I value 2 trades more than to do that, even if GAJ was 50k less than his starting price.

I believe injury pending there is no reason why he won't hold his form of 09.

As for your side, I like your backline and forwards a lot but your midfield is a little questionable with Young apparently still fighting that hip injury and Ball and Burgoyne a bit of an unknown at new clubs. Waters is out for 6 weeks with a knee injury as well.
