Have led Geelong in the last quarter just about every flowering time we've played them and choke literally every time. Its gotten beyond a flowering joke now

Buddy left the ground to have a colonoscopy after 1st quarter. Mitchell also went walkabout after the first half. Rioli didn't know the game had started until the 2nd half, same with Hale. As you can see, I'm annoyed with them, as they cost me a free Whopper, and Franklin cost me the 2k score...

Yeah Buddy is shower when it's wet.  >:(

whoa stew!
giving an 'objective' view (yeah, i missed out on a whopper too  ;)) but it wasn't that bad.

they just didn't take the 2-3 chances when they had them - Buddy missed two on the run and Osborne couldn't quite get hold of it with a brilliant (can't believe i'm saying it about this player) Makie effort ...

the curse continues!!!  ;)

Cicjose

no buddy just needed to kick straight

I think it's the 3rd time we've been goalless in the last quarter when the game is on the line. So flowering pissed off they are so easily beatable but we choke and let it slip every time

If they were easy to beat then you would have beaten them.  Everyone still doesn't give Geelong enough credit - they are a champion team.

JBs-Hawks

Schoenmakers to easily bodied out was an absolute joke. Time to trade him
Back to Adelaide for talia (I wish :p )

Shoey, Bateman, Osborne get out! Need Gilham, Hodge and Shiels..
So sick of this last quarter choking, not good enough. Shattered at the game :(

Cruiseon

We should sit back for a second and realise it was an awesome game.

But I don't think a 2 point loss in a home & away game in April deserves trash talking your team.

It was a final worthy game & Hawthorn missed their biggest heart of all, a certain Mr Hodge! He would have been very handy in that last quarter in amongst Bartel, Selwood & Chapman.

In the meantime be big enough to say well played Geelong and keep the faith that you'll beat then next time........ maybe.  ;)

One thing that stood out was when Buddy had the ball, near end of Q4, running alone into the 50, if he kicked it, the Hawks would be in front, so he decides to be showy, grubbers it along the ground, crawls to a stop 10m out from goal... tool

Both these teams are lucky they haven't played the Eagles yet :P

Nah, it was a cracking game but the Hawks should have put it away.

arzbar96

Lol I don't care how good a game it was, we haven't broken our hoodoo against them so I'm still not happy.

Yes we should. :)

It had a Grand Final atmosphere.

And hawks supporters, nothing on Roughy dropping the mark with a few seconds to go?? :P Or are you saying nothing coz you know he would've missed. ;D

TheMailman

There were points where Hawthorn should of put the game away but they didn't. When they were playing well they were all over Geelong but at times they were very subpar. The Hawks still look like their closing in on a Grand Final w/ Collingwood looking to have some wobbles
