I personally didn't pick him (went Hargrave), but for all of those who traded him out after last week, did your trade options net you enough not to be upset with how well he's doing tonight? Was not expecting him lift against Adelaide like he has. I guess for those who kept him there is always light at the end of the tunnel (perhaps a only very short tunnel at that...?)

Ricochet

i wonder who got rid of him and is now regretting it

It is a lesson to learn. The whole "don't trade till after round 3" is really about looking for a possible form pattern. Glad I haven't traded yet (even with my previous Stanton/Mitchell thread).

Kept him, but benched him :(  :'(
Oh no. However, given last week I would have been inclined to do the same and give Ellis a run (for example).

GnR theory is looking more and more relevant ...

Lake - up and down
Golby - up and down
Hargrave ... going ok but not exactly pulling consistent 100s
Parker ... 2 60 ish scores

The list goes on ... a couple of exceptions but thay are BEEPIN' hard to nail pre season!!!
Didn't hear anyone mention Ebert preseason ...

I am stoked with 79 and 89 from Hargrave. For just 230k he is only 100k more expensive than a high-priced rookie and potentially could average 90 (as shown in his first couple of hitouts - both of which have been losses) which is premium for a backmen. Not bad for 200k less than Broughton :P

As i said he is going ok ... but Bugg and Mohr are scoring at a similar rate based on rd 1 and they are even cheaper.
Clarke also came good round 2 for a lot less money.

Hope his injury scare today was nothing for the teams that have him  :)

Sure, I'd want to see Bugg and Mohr back up this week though ;)

Very true ... but they will go up in value even if they don't ...
VERY hard to pick a winner in terms of the mid priced players at the start ... much easier to do this after a few rounds.

I changed my strategy this year and picked Parker ... not the best move i have ever made  :)
