Stanton and/or Mitchell

It would seem the theory of do not trade early is in some contention this season.

I had both Stanton and Mitchell in my team just days out from round 1 and ended up with the following mids:
Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Thompson, Caddy, McDonald (Magner, Shiel)

I had picked Stants and Sammy as my future most likely potential upgrade targets before Rd 1. The question is, can I afford to not have Stanton (and even Mitchell) now before prices go up?

Is it just utterly ridiculous to trade Goodes or Martin from my fwd line down to Treloar (FWD/MID and a chance to play next round if the rumours are to be believed) and upgrade Caddy to Stanton (or Mitchell)? I would have preferred to think about downgrading Dangerfield but it won't net me enough cash.

The reason I ask is I finished 252 after rd 1 and am looking to place as well as I can overall (after this week and Mummy not starting and me not seeing this until after lock out perhaps I'll slip back to 12,502).

I know some of this hypothetical is based around teams being named next week, but for the idea of getting a yes/no answer on Goodes/Martin etc etc lets pretend Treloar is a viable option.

I thought about doing a poll, but often we click an answer we think we want to give only to realise we mis-read the qu, so any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

I too want Mitchell in my team and had him in 1 hour before lock out! I am thinking of going Goodes to Kennedy then Cogs to Mitchell?

Seems crazy but with Goodes being a slow starter it could pay dividends?
