Darren Pfeiffer and Koby Stevens?

Obviously these guys arent selected this round so i was thinking next round if they dont get selected (which i dont think they will) trade Koby Stevens out for either Clay Smith, Thomas Couch (if he plays) or Alex Sexton (if he scores well). The reason is that i think its good to get on all the prime rookies that are playing early so that when some of the other gun rookies start playing i have some downgrade targets to make cash. If Pfeiffer doesnt get selected i was thinking trade him out for either Alex Sexton, Tory Dickson (if he improves) or my personal favourite if he goes well again Terry Milera.

What do you guys think about this?

I certainly wouldnt be making 2 trades this early. Maybe 1 trade, but save them man.
Pfieffer was named emergency, hang on to him at least.

Juddster5

Yeah i wasnt going to trade both mate. Do you see my logic though?

2 large cokes

get rid of koby for clay asap. gonna be hard for him to get back into west coasts team.
pfeifer won't be far off. should get the call up once they lose this week and a player or two is dropped or injured.

btw how did u start your season with two non-playing rookies?

Football Factory

Im assuming you have Magnet .. if not an easy choice, Stevens - Magnet

Juddster5

Thanks yeah thats what i reckon it is to hard for Koby Stevens to break into the West Coast team. In my opinion Pfeiffer isnt far off but if he doesnt get selected next week he might be gone if i dont have cover. The reason i started with 2 non playing rookies is that i was away for 4 days last week when everything was being announced so i couldnt change my team.

Yeah mate i have the Magnet :)

without injuries, Kobe will hardly play this year and if he does it will only be a game here and there. Its disappointing because he can play and posted some nice DT scores in the NAB

the cost of a trade is worth having a gun rookie over one that isn't playing at all.

I would get rid of both after round 2, the immediate benefit is bench cover and 2 price rises over 150K combined.

Magner alone is set to go up $85k and kennedy and clay would be the same rise, if milera backs up last score this round he won't be far off.

trades are valuable, but cash cows are more so. If you messed it up fix it up. I took a punt on Zorko getting a game this week or next, not looking like he will play seniors for 2 or 3 more rounds now so i'll be fixing that up and the one trade will earn me a gun playing rook and probably 250K over the next 3 or 4 rounds.

easily decission = trade

the hard decision will or would be dickson hall or smedts all have 20-30 scores this week - THEN - do you keep them over guys backing up with huge scores 2 weeks in a row - before the round 3 price rise....

Yeah thats why i had him in there. Its just that West Coast have a very strong team this year.

ALL HAIL THE MAGNET  :)

But i think Pfeiffer will play soon so he may be picked soon.

Torress

i reckon koby will get his chance. when he does lets hope he lifts and gets a semi regular gig when its downgrade time  ;)

glad i didn't touch pfiffer. gotta be a good chance to be vested. reckon he'll be a slow burner that one.

well i didn't start Jmac. but did start neale and ledger. shiel and smith stunk it up in my midfield last week!!
reckon neale will play back in WA round 3  :-X  and his sprained ankle should be right (i'm hoping as if he doesn't play soon everyone gets a sweet downgrade).

pfieffer may play soon he may not same as torress says so may neale, but if you wait until after round 3 and none are playing still including pfieffer magnet and co. will cost you $200k, another round cost you $260k.....
