Does this help you J-man?

So on to your question - you do have it 100% correct.

Slight but definite risk not having a genuine emergency somewhere.

Also if you put two emergencies on one line and only one is needed, you get the lower of the two scores.

It's the price you have to pay to utilise the loophole.

Jay

thanks tor01! would u have the two emergencies?

Ringo

Only have one emergency on your mid line as you want one to cover Mac. If you nominate 2 emergencies on mids with only one required and using this as example Shiel scores 104 and Ledger scores 60 MacDonald will get Ledger's score of 60 not Shiels.
You have to make a decision as to whether or not you think Magner will play and risk involved.
What do you think the difference in Shiels and Ledgers score will be and if not a lot may be worth the risk naming 2 emergencies to cover both. If you think a sizeable difference then you have to consider the overall risk do I need additional coverage in case Magner goes out and what is the probability of this.

Melbourne have not shown a great deal of concern about Magner's ankle and have named him as ruck-rover (old fashioned term huh!)

I'd back him to play and Ledger maybe as he gets big wraps and is playing GCS.

Also Redden or Giles to start?
