Much better return thanks Heath Scotland

Here, here! Couldn't agree more - around 3/4 time I was worried he was heading for another 79ish score... And would've been pretty pissed off with a 79, 79 start to the season considering what I paid for him!

Interestingly, from memory he wasn't doing too well in Rd.1 either until he boosted his score in junk time - all hail the Junk Time King!!!

esquire

Picked Carrots over him and for the first half of the game I was well chuffed and then the junk-star got it done. Such a seagull.

That's why he's there! So the boys can kick it to him when the games done ;)

Thanks Scotto, I would have been heart broken if he didn't lift in the last quarter. I've never picked Scotland in my team before, is this the way he normally plays? (Junk time slut) Or is he normally more consistant and scores well through out the match?

nostradamus

he was so bad that he could have been done for solicitation in the last qtr

Damn I hate junk time when you don't have the player.  :P

+1  though no matter how many points someone picks up in junk time in never justifies their selection.

+ 1    .. first year i have had him .. starting to think im a jinx

Ricochet

does it worry anyone else that he is scoring all his points with the game is well and truely over.
I mean they beat Richmond by 44 (Carlton were only up by 12 points at 3 quarter time and from memory he was struggling) = he finishes with 79
and they beat Brissie last night by 91 (he scored something like 40-50 points in the last quarter) = he finishes with 105
Carlton have Collingwood next week. Will be interesting to see how he goes

Football Factory

Dont care how he scores his points aslong as he scores them .. its not like they are going to drop him because he only touches it in junk time. He is in the best 22 and rats loves him .. mentioned him after the game playing on the wing .. I reckon he still hasn't really played a good game yet averaging 92 from 2 is not bad at all

I didn't say he was going to get dropped. Of course he is in Carlton's best 22.
I was only stating that he's slutted it up when the game was well and truely over against piss poor opposition.
Annnd that it will be interesting to see how he goes against better teams. ie Collingwood next week

Sorry didnt mean it like that .. i just dont think it really matters how he scores his points .. i think because they have played piss poor oposition is why he hasnt scored very well they dont need to link up and possess the ball they just get it and run through and pass to a player in the 50
