Hi,

I have some cash ... which premium or mid pricer should i bring in for Parker:

- Dal Santo (note: most expensive i can afford)
- Carrazzo (for DPP link)
- Magner (100 odd)
- Black (128)
- B.Ebert (129)
- Bird (127)
- Sloane (125)
- J.Stevens (119)
- Someone else???????

No need to debate on the whole trade or don't trade thing ... just interested in who is the best option.
At present i am going with NDS.

Greatly appreciate any advice ...

Sorry ... obviously Magner is a rookie ... but i missed getting him in round 1.  :)

Hard to say, NDS probably the best option .. but the Magnet will make you lots of cash

As another option:

Dont normally recommend trading early but can you downgrade a rook into Magnet then you might have enough cash for a Mitchell or Rockilff or Thompson 538k,  Selwood 540k

question is do you have the cash to go NDS without doing two trades?

if yes go parker to NDS and make him your captain this week and you will feel double good about the trade next week.

if no dont double trade to get him downgrade to magner - tempted to suggest this option even if you do have the cash as he is almost guaranteed to make us all 300K and that is very FAT COW i can't wait to get to the slaughterhouse  :P

There were 3 smokies identified at the start of the season around the same price - Parker, Masten and McCarthy.
Why not stick with the same idea, different player. And no, NOT Masten.. I'm talking McCarthy. I'm hoping he becomes a keeper.

I am downgrading Hale in the ruck for a rookie that gives me the extra cash.
Not to debate again the "trade early" theory but he isn't playing the role i expected so cutting my lose early.

I will get Magner for sure but i can do this next round with some more info ... or get C.Smith also with the benefit of a second game to watch first.

NDS seems the best option ... Carrazzo is also tempting with his DPP link so i could trade him into my defence later and replace with another premium mid.  Black looks awesome but getting on a little ..

+1 or since you have the cash brad ebert? but be wary ports draw is tough and st kilds sucked so those scores may be "slightly more" than you can expect week in week out.

Black will normally be tagged and won't score that well most games, carrots will be a premium defender like he always is but he is a tagger and will have a run of bad scores he always does, trick is to get him in after he has a few tough games and drops in price, wouldn't hurt to have him all season tho, but for week in week out bankable top elite scoring bring in NDS.

Torpedo10

Mate, Go Sloane. Youngest, Most Potential, Up for Breakout Season, Biggest scorer. He will average 95. Get on!!

mpollock

I don't know much about Sloane except he was solid last year and has started this year really well.
Lots of hype about him on Fan Footy as well.

If Thomspon misses a few games then the likes of Dangerfield and Sloane could really carve it up.
Takes some you know what to go for him over NDS ...

I will look into the draw of Adelaide early ... St.Kilda look like they are going to crash this year big time so not sure how this will affect NDS ... prob. not at all as he is always solid.
