Brisbanes midfield is a lot better than Richmonds atm. Black Redden Rockliff and Rich vs. Martin Tuck Cotchin and Foley stacks much better in Brisbanes favour.

I could of presented you a thousand facts on why St. Kilda would of beaten Port Adelaide but they didn't, intuition is the key here, not statistics

Yeh i was only trying to show that maybe Brissies midfield isnt as far ahead of Richmond as Colli had suggested, and that if Carrazzo can tonne up against Richmond (while supposedly being carltons number 1 tagger) then why would he/carlton worry about tagging brissie's midifeld

For starters in past games Carrazzo seems to have gone to Rich not Black. But whatever he is still highly likely to be tagging someone this time aswell

Carrazzo's last 3 games against Brisbane have netted him 114, 81, 80 but i think if you go back further he might have had a couple more above 100

Adcocks last 3 games against Carlton have seen him score 50, 39, 63 but in these games I think that he was probably used in defensive roles (he was last year anyway). A move to the midfield now could see him score much more prominently

If you think Carlton are going to run away with the game and score well overall then Carrazzo could follow suit and score well, but still its unlikely he would score enough for a captain.

I feel Adcock has a higher ceiling this game with his move to the midfield and as such I would have a punt on him despite his lower previous scores.

Nobody accumulates like Carrazzo when tagging. He has less risk than Adcock who can go fully negative on his defensive jobs and not find the ball.
Don't get sucked into Adcocks good score against the softest side in the comp, and thinking that it will continue in this fashion. I do beleive hes good for a 90-100 average though but Carlton aren't going to roll over and die like the Demons. Adcock will have his work cut out for him and i think he will be used defensively unfortunately :(

I think that in a straight head to head Carrazzo is much more likely to beat Adcock. Its just that I wonder if Carrazzo can really rack up the 120+ that he would need to be kept as captain whilst tagging. As bad as Adcock will likely do I just can't help but feel that if he gets going he could potentially pull that 120+ score. I'm just really struggling to see Carrazzo doing that at the Gabba.
