John blakey played in 2 premierships and is in the NMFC team of the century hardly under achieved. Especially when 100+ games were played at fitzroy

Probably underachiever was not the right word...

It was more the fact that I did not realise he'd played so many games, the others I had. Snuck up on the list...

yeh he was probly noticed more internally i guess a real important 'cog' sort of player but certainly not a star

Fletch needs 78 games to get to Tucks record and his 36. He needs to play atleast another 3 seasons. He could push 2 but not sure about 3. Would also probably need to go to 4th season to make milestone. If his body is right he'll do it, all about the body cause his mind is in the right place I think. Just a fact, Matty Lloyd's Childhood Hero was Bernie Quinlen and Fitzroy wanted Lloydy at Fitzroy but he didn't want to go there even tho he went for them at the time. That's when Essendon swooped.  :)

How good was Fletch's spoil then the follow up to rush a behind in the dying stages against the Roos! The man is a genius...love him! Here's hoping he gets the record for the number of games but i think he might only play 1 more year after this one

Fletcher wants to keep going, Ken said he will keep playing, if he keeps his speed and eye sight, then he can keep going.

But the thing is 1 injury to ruin his fitness with end his career, so it's game by game now with Fletcher.

And he needs to not miss any of those games ;) You're assuming he'll play 22+finals per season.
