Rocky & Robbo are my only players in the Brisbane V Carlton game on Thursday and will be using one of them as VC for the captain loophole. But Who should I choose?

Robinson -  High ceiling as shown last year with scores of 141, 131, 126 & 124, but can also put in a few sub 70 scores...
Rockliff - Really consistent, will score 100+ nearly every week and had a few monster games last year with scores of 151, 138, 134 & 132.

Thoughts?

Rockliff - proven performer, averaging like 112 last year, you only need him to have a slightly better than average game and you've got a great score as captain... robinson seems far less likely to have a 120+ game, but who knows!

Ricochet

Rockliff has never scored over 100 (95 and 99) against the blues but he's still a better choice than Robinson

Gamble to set robbo but uv got cover anyway, id think rockliff would be a no brainer

I am going Murphy though!

I would prefer if Rockliff wasnt playing in the forward line but yeah it normally would be a no brainer to choose him over robbo..

Rocky was recruited as a fwd and was awesome there in 2010. He proved he can still rack them up with 24 touches and if he kicked straight (he got 3 goals 5 behinds) he would have been hitting 150 and upward!! When Brisbane get some fwds back like Zorko, Brown and Karnezis then Rocky will move into the middle again.

Remember, a mark and kick is +6. A mark kick and goal is +12.
Rocky is a gun either way and if I had him I would make him VC over Murphy :)

dont see robinson posting a big enough score to stop you not just picking a guy like swan.  Its simple actually rocky 7 12+ scores, robinson 3 in the last years home and aways season. Your probably not going to take anything under 120 so go rocky.

So I sub JMac on to the field with the C on him.  put the VC on Rockliff.

If rockliff does well, i leave JMac on the field with the C - and have an emergency ready as he is not playing? Or not?

Rockliff does crap, i put the C on swan and put JMac back on the bench?

This!!!! I had Rockliff in his first year and he played predominantly forward of centre and scored pretty well. He spent time forward as a junior too, so knows what to do.
