Adelaides "easy" fixture..

All pre season people have justfied their choices of picking up players like thompson, danger and porps by saying adelaide having an easy draw early on. I never actually bothered looking untill today, but what are people talking about??

Between now and their bye in rd 11 they face:
Hawthorn away
Sydney away
Geelong
Carlton away
Collingwood
Freo away

Thats 6 of their next 9 games? How is that easy..... :o

The also play GWS, GC, Port twice throughout the season not worth upgrading to Adelaide players but Thommo worth having for the entire season

They play GWS, Port, GC twice while only having to face Collingwood, Sydney, Carlton, Hawthorn and West Coast once

Sounds pretty easy fantasywise and drawise to me

Correct. :) But the port games aren't easy, regardless of how well each team is performing heading into the game.

Port got screwed! But GO PORT, my adopted favourite team for 2012 (2011 was the suns) ;) i like ports coach and i like how they have come out in 2012 even if they lose most games but play like they did round 1 they can hold thier heads high which is something that maybe was hard to do for them last year.

I think ELE loves them too this year because they're giving his boy ebert a run :)

haha, my adopted team last year was West Coast, mainly coz of Priddis. Need to find a new one this year.

And yeah, i saw the list in the prospectus. Hopefully some of those "difficult" teams start dropping off so it's not as hard as it looks. :)

It is unlucky that teams like Richmond, Melbourne and GC get much better draws than a team like Port. Seeing as the draft picks have been dominated by GC and GWS I think Port are actually quite underated in what they've managed to acheieve. Teams like Melbourne and Richmond, GC and GWS just seem to be sucking up Port's oppurtunities and (in the case of Melbourne and Richmond) they haven't been able to much with it.

A bad draw for the Dogs is a good thing. Finish 5th last and get pick #5 AND #6 (Ward compo) in the best draft for a long time. Pity we will refuse to tank and beat the Crows this week, showing everyone that their draw isn't as easy as everyone thinks.
