Looks like HMac will stay, I'm not too concerned about this week's score but I wanted to have Kreuz from the first bounce thats why I was looking to trade
HMac is a proven scorer (2010 was All Australian) so I think he will be able to score even with Goldstein

I am a firm believer that the 1 prem 3 rookies strat is the one to go for...especially when there are such talented rookies about (giles/redden) You say that redden only scored 68...true but he was subbed out in the 3rd qtr...well on his way to a rookie ruck ton!  Having him as your 3rd or 4th ruck is all smiles in my opinion.  Make the money off him then trade him down to someone like Rowe from Carlton mid season when Kreuzer gets injured again  ;)

Who's your 4th ruck in the Prem and 3 Rook strategy?? Orren is terrible.
Atm i have Cox, Hmac, Giles and Redden. And firmly believe Hmac will probably make me more money than Orren will and give me some decent scores as well.

I was wanting to go 4 rookie ruck before lock out but I didn't have the balls to do it. I regret now starting with HMac as well :(

To be honest I wish I started with: Giles, Redden, Orren, Derickx

I'd then be able to use that money to help me heaps :(

Redden got subbed off though, i don't think him being subbed off is a redeeming feature
He still only got 68 and could easily get subbed off in most games
I think HMac got towelled up a bit by the Ryder Hille combo (which looked awesome) so will do better against the weaker ruck teams

I too went with the big h-mac. With giles and redden on the bench and raring to go and sandi as his partner in crime, if he doesn't perform then i will downgrade him to orren and make ~150k in the process.

Orren is my 4th ruck but only because he is guaranteed to play (29yo rookie...think pods...)  If my 4th scores 50 each week i'll be happy...end of the day i'm never gonna play him on the field, and he is basically gonna be a cash cow and once he scores +100k on his starting price i'll ship him out for a basement price ruck

He's also a sh*t load cheaper than HMac who IMO will struggle to score huge scores because he and goldstein are competing for the same position.  Think NiCknat with Cox around...never gonna score consistently huge scores.

You were right in the first place - anyone willing to punt on Mcintosh should've found the extra 50k for Kreuzer, always the better pick out of the two. I think Redden looks like a must-have if you don't have him, but depending on your cash balance and Kreuzer's 2nd game, it might well be worth correcting the mistake from the get-go. Jacobs also needs to have an eye kept on, but won't be at the current tasty price for long...
