Replace Ballantine already?

I scored 2175 this week, and have 170k in the bank ...
Question is, do I trade up Ballantine to fyfe now or trade him for Tippett and bank the extra cash, then use it to turn Jeremy Cameron/porplysia/d.smith into fyfe in 5 weeks

Took Dangerfield instead of Ballaz, so glad.

He will be a risk all season because I think he will be a constant target

Out of those two options I'd be getting in Fyfe now. What's the point in missing out on a month's worth of scoring from him?

Why would you choose Ballantyne over Fyfe to begin with? If you can do it now then you definitely should. Ballantyne is a hack and Fyfe is a legend.

Depends who is on your bench. Fyfe is a gun and you probably disappointed you didnt start him. I wouldnt trade a player out on the fact his out for 2 weeks. Keep what you got. But if you are going to trade dont frigg about and splash out and get fyfe.

SO lucky i got fyfey in just before lockout, after i found out r.gray was out i restructured my team and messed around to go Gray>Fyfe, so happy now Good work Robbie!!

My thinking is that Adelaide's good fixture will see Tippett score pretty well til round 5 at least ... How much less than fyfe will he possibly score?
So in 5 weeks I can have Tippett + fyfe instead of fyfe and a 200k rook

Don't even touch Tippet, he has played one good match, and there are much better options than him!

Went with the straight swap after much deliberation .. Ballantine to fyfe, still have 40k so not too bad

Lol who would have Scarlett... At least Balla looked like he might play more midfield this year and increase his output.

Anyways I'd just trade Balla to Fyfe, maybe its bad to burn trades early but Fyfes a gun and if your gonna trade no matter what then I don't rate Tippet to keep up that kind of scoring against teams with better backmen and more midfield pressure

The Lad got 2175 think we should all be telling him to get Tippet ;) His a Gun. One of the Best Forwards in the comp. Probably Ave 115 all year long.

It's a great excuse to bring in Ian Callinan, then with the extra cash upgrade Cameron after he's risen to $160k (probable ceiling LOL).
