Gunston maybe?

I have convinced myself to keep howard on the bench until he returns, although now I've said it he will probably come back round 7 as a sub then average 60 for the rest of the year. Such is dream team.

Players I have my eye on includeBrad Ebert and magner as well as kennedy

What about Corey Enright and Greg Broughton??? If they go crap again this week they are gone.

Dodged a bullet by removing these two blokes from my first draft. Enright will need to go in particular if he fails again.

Broughton's always gonna be a rollercoaster and for his price I think its justified. He'll get lockdown roles when certain gun small forwards look to tear a game apart but will carve up when he isn't needed for that. Keep him and ride the good times and shut your eyes during the lows.

Enright would be more of a concern for me. I didn't see the game but what was he doing? Looking older and slower or just an off game maybe?

Exactly! What was he doing? To only score 39??? He must of been laying down. If he scores less than 70 or 80 this week he is gone for either Adcock, Hanley or Even Hargrave to free up some $$$

Lol, I'd still be nervous on either Adcock or Hanley if you don't like rollercoasters. But still I guess they are looking a ton better than Spudright...

dont think you can pick a back premo this yr without having a few goes on the roller coaster

Ok jukes why would you butcher two trades? You might as well made the decision before lockout. Shaw will go better, once another person on the birchall train  8)

Just make no trades for prem to prem. swan will probably pull out a 140 and pendles low 100... Back the players you pick initially...

I never said I was going to trade them out this week- just trades that were formulating in my head for next week. Who trades out week 1?

Oh, I'm a shower dt'er? I guess you're in a higher league then the 4th best scoring league in the world for round 1...
Just because you're in a decent league doesn't mean you are automatically good yourself, one of my mates was in a top 40 league last year and he is average at best. who in the world would even consider in their wildest dreams trading out swan? what are you thinking? he is a DT god, he had an ordinary round and still managed 104 and you're thinking of trading him out, utter nonsense.

Ooooooh yeah keep going! This is getting good!

what are people's thoughts on trading a rookie who scores say around 40, to a rookie looking the goods who scored around mid 70's.

would it be worth a trade ?

all my rookies played, obviously, but i thinking some now have limited JS after an average effort.
am i right to think about offloading them now, most likly next week, and hope down the track it pays off.

my gut feel says yes, and i'll be kicking myself later if an average rookie gets dropped while the goodish rookie keeps playing

I'm in a similar boat with Ellis, Morris and Paine all scoring no higher than 40. If none show improvement and Senor Bugg plays the same DT friendly game as he did in Round 1 then there is a good chance that one will be out on his ear. That said, I may just perservere with them until Darley is on the bubble so that their inclusion wasn't a complete tragedy.

haha cheers ele, people picked swan for a reason, he is an out and out legend on DT and one bad score is no reason to even consider trading him out.

I would say yes... a rookie scoring 40 odd might only rise to around 180-200k or even end up getting dropped.
Trading to a rookie that looks to score 75 should rise to around 300-330k and you would assume that they would have better job security also.
By these assumptions thats about 120-150k that your making with the trade and possibly gaining points on the ground and not having to put up with this years Cam Richardson in your side.
