"First-year Crows coach Brenton Sanderson may have to follow the innovative ways of Chris Scott, his former master at Geelong, by playing some of his Adelaide veterans for no more than 18 games."

Not great signs to be honest.

It was a bit of a throw away line and it is more directed at Doughty, Johncock and Rutten. Thommo might miss 1 game through rest but not up to 5.

BTW if Thommo is seriously injured (doubt all this bull shower) then thoughts on Rory Sloane. He will carve up even more could be a tasty upgrade from coniglio

Still, even if premiums do get rested you'd expect it to be later in the year when finals spots are all stitched up. It will be a pain in the ass in later rounds (and will surely be worth saving a few late trades for), but that can't have anything to do with Thompson this early in the season.

yeah and Adelaide might not even make the 8 ;)
if you realy thought it wouldnt happen might wouldnt be in the sentence as you know we will ;)

Been on Sloane since the website opened this year.  His tackle count is amazing!!! When a bloke can score 40+ points in tackles alone and then begins to accumulate 30+ possessions a game...well you better watch this space!  Sloane for Brownlow 2014

MatDark

They said he will play this weekend. I swear this year already people are panicking themselves stupid like putting $1000 on Fevola to win this years Brownlow....

yeah i was thinking on chucking $10 on the fev,  odds are really good on him to pick up the charlie this year

I don't have Thompson but was considering trading him in this week as i have some cash and want to off load one of my injured midfielders ... knew about the Thompson "pregnacy" a few days ago (I posted on SC thread on Fan Footy.)  ;D

Think i will look elsewhere ... no point wasting a trade on a guy who has any potential injury hanging over him ... even if the odds are 90% that he is fine ... so many mid field options available!

Please be injured lol. All the top sides has him. ::)

Ultrasound might be a hernia or something
This might be true, he's carried the Crows all last season and just might have popped a hernia.

What a load of wank about resting a jet like Scotty T. Especially after coming off the bye against GC  ;)
