Got a few options if I decide to get Howard out in match report stated as 4 weeks for his ankle.

Option 1: Trade Howard - Birchall. Need to then Trade T lynch in fwd line to a rook. Uses 2 trades but upside is removes sub affected risky player in Lynch also.

Option 2: Sideways trade Howard to a performing midpriced defender in Dempsey/Golby. Uses 1 trade - keep t lynch.

Option 3: make NO trades keep howard on the bench for 4 weeks until over injury. Uses no trades - keep both howard and t lynch.

Option 4: Downgrade Howard to a rook. Uses 1 trade - keep t lynch

Option 5:
something else?

Ok so I would have kept both Howard and T Lynch bot h have potential and are cheap enough lynch scored 36 but was only on the park for 1/4.

With Howard out for 4, not sure I can justify keeping him on the bench for that long, so if i trade him out which way should I go...

DEF: GODDARD / DELIDIO / SHAW / BROUGHTON / HARGRAVE / HOWARD / CLARKE (BUGG - ELLIS)

FWD: FRANKLIN / FYFE / MARTIN / SIDEBOTTOM / DANGERFIELD / LYNCH / KENNEDY (SMITH - DICKSON)

Notes: Potential GUN ROOKS I Don't have which may play this week in fwd line.

ZORKO
COUCH
TAYLOR ADAMS (SUSPENDED ROUND 1)
TRELOAR
hampton?
hall?
milera?

Notes: Potential alternatives to Birchall:

HANLEY
ADCOCK

All aboard, the Birchall train 8)

Funny how people are trying to just on him now :(

I wouldn't burn 2 trades so early, and I'd try to remain in a similar structure to what you have already set up. So I'd go Howard -> Golby. Simplest solution, and Lynch could still come good.

How is it funny, do you expect people to upgrade to bad scoring players?  ::)

the only reason i didnt start birchall was his bye round same reason if i go this option it is more likely to be to hanley not birchall (untill round 14)

Howard ---> Smedts or a GWS rookie defender would be my pick.

You could go to Golby or someone else otherwise.

Don't think you should carry him for 4 weeks.

Howard to Birchall. If your going to burn trades early you might aswell improve your team with a keeper. Let's say Howard was only going to avg 70, eventually you were going to do it anyway. If Couch gets named this week get him in i reckon.

exactly i would always have upgrade howard and lynch this just means the two trades are used up without having made any money

but they arent wasted as both players were cash cows anyway. Fear if I go this way I could regret it lynch really could rack up high scored with his draw and his role if not for being starting sub i wouldnt consider trading him...

You can afford to keep Howard in your team by chucking him on the pine and play one of Bugg or Ellis both capable rookies.
In saying that thats a lot of money to be sitting on the pine for 4 weeks, 4 weeks could turn into 5,6 or 7 weeks when he does come back he could be given the vest, By that time all the decent rookies and players around his price range would be out of reach.

Howard - Golby wouldn't be the worst idea.

Lynch - Treloar would be a good idea if he is named this week, you could take the punt on him.

Then again Devon Smith is more then capable of getting a spot on your field is a good player just got first game blues against the Swans. I reckon you should wait 1 more week play Bugg/Ellis in replace of Howard and evaluate everything after the weekend.

Chopps

Wait 1 more round to see what lynch does I reckon

Option 4, keep them they will go down but will come up even quicker, although i dont see the hype about Lynch, dropped by an under performing Saints last year and is seen as having potential at the crows.....

If you want to trade do it after R2 so you can make some cash by picking up some cash cows (i may do this)

for those who didnt have him from the start, dont worry i jumped on

Kuruki

Howard to Golby could end up costing you even more trades when you turn Golby into Birchall anyway. Keeping Howard for 4 weeks for him to come back and spud it up would hurt big time.

Howard to Birch or Hanley easily your best options.
