should of got midfield time, was supposed to have a cemented role in mids, absolute dt gun when he plays in the midfield. is this just a one off you recon or is it going to be a common occurrence.

They played Geelong. So they have alot of dangerous forwards to tag so im expecting a one off.

glad i went the Duffman in the end .. almost put Broughton in last minute

Keep him. Geez, if we were this trigger happy we'd be ousting D-Mart after a less than expected performance.

Last year he tagged johnson out of the game so they did it again last night hence why his score was low. He will get more midfield time during the season but will have games like last night where he will score 50-60 and games where he will score 120+. Its gonna be a roller coaster ride all year so get used to his ups and downs.

Mr.Craig

I gave him 7 weeks last season and certainly wouldn't suggest waiting that long.

Not sure what is going through Lyon's head (if anything at all) but my gut feeling is that he'll continue to be used in a similar role as last night, only going in to the midfield when one of the regulars is having a rest.

I don't watch Freo that closely but I presume Mundy will come back into the mids at the expense of de Boer. A couple more injuries might help Greg's fortunes but that's a bit of a long shot.

No doubt as soon as people start trading him he will explode....might as well trade him out and back in again. ;D

Yeah by 3 points in DT but Heater is not going to be tagging or shutting down, he had two key defenders missing in TAZ and Maxy very different situation to Broughton.

In SC however the difference was a lot more telling in 91 - 57 Heaters way.

All comes down to how well the rest of your team is picked, if not other mistakes needing trades to fix it's easy to make the trade for a higher scorer. It's all risk v reward Broughton could average 110+ as a midfielder free to run or 50 as a lock down tagging type, as said earlier he is a rollercoaster, problem is we can only go on what we see each round so at some stage we who have him have to decide whether he is likely to spend more time at the top of the coaster or at the bottom.

It's one game, god people over react.

But your right Cw, heater will do better against crappy teams. Broughton played Geelong, he will do well against the worse teams. Give him a chance... :-X
