I'm keeping him.

But seriously, WTF is his role at Freo. 1st QTR he played exclusively midfield and dominated.

The next 3 he just floated around half back with like a few VERY brief stints as follower. He wasn't tagging anyone I don't think. Only tag going on was on Stephen Hill.
pretty sure they put him in a lockdown role on Stevie J, good coaching move imo being Stevie was kept quiet...

shower for us but i dont see too many other freak forwards like that, so it will be a rarity

I saw him roaming the midfield, but he didn't look like he had any idea where to position himself to get the ball. Might have been one of those games where after quarter time the pill just kept going to the other side of the pack etc. I'm as frustrated as anyone. Continue to get excited he might be released from a lockdown role

I have broughton but to be honest is there anyone safe to trade him for?
I hate roller coaster players but like many was sucked in to picking broughton due to mid field role ...

I have Goddard and Deledio already ... the only consistent player i can see is Birchall ... but then the dreaded round 13 bye comes up!!

Alternatively, I would be happy to trade broughton for a rookie but the only one that stands out is Mohr ... then i have to many GWS rookies ...

So hence looks like no trade and watch round 2.  Heppell scores about 13 more points so not jumping out as an option either.
Adcock, Shaw, Newman ... why bother ... just another roller coaster ride!
i agree with this.. i may have to re-think keping him, if hes gunna be playing the lock-down role then he will have to go BUT,,,,  theres no one really jumping out as a good pick.   maybe adcock, but he'll just get injured in a few weeks...
why did i pick broughton?  it was duffield last year, now broughts arhhh  why didnt i just pick malceski and save the cash

+1. Shaw scored 56 so he is well and truly on the block ;) I traded Hanley to Shaw before lockout because I am a person :P
