didnt they just say will give him round 2 to see how he goes?

Didn't I just agree with that decision?

I was so unsure of what Freo would be like this year I didn't want to go with Broughts and Pav. Fyfe was a no-brainer, couldn't leave him out.

I was one of the coaches who hung on to Broughton way too long last season and got hurt by his price drop (trading him out for Suban who broke his leg the next week wasn't exactly genius either).

For what it's worth I think you should hang on until next week unless you think you'll need those 2 trades to get the correct rookie mix before the first round of price rises.

i might sideways trade him to bouman from the hawks   ;D

I wouldn't trade out broughton just yet, at least give him another week to prove himself, although after having being burned by him last year i'm not exactly his biggest fan.

The F.A.R.K.

hahahaha for flowers sake he plays one bad game his pre season has been immaculate give the bloke a chance. Is everyone trading out dustin martin, heath shaw and co. as welll hahahahaha he will bounce back

I was sucked into the crowd with broughton too.
I had adcock for much of preseason and then the 'new coach' plus the crowd and brought named on ball and mids made me go to him. Also considered heppell and hanley too!
Hope he comes good though and plays in mids for rest of yr

I must not trade out Broughts... I must not trade out Broughts... I must not trade out Broughts... I must not trade out Broughts...

Holz

might straight swap him to hunt :)

I have broughton but to be honest is there anyone safe to trade him for?
I hate roller coaster players but like many was sucked in to picking broughton due to mid field role ...

I have Goddard and Deledio already ... the only consistent player i can see is Birchall ... but then the dreaded round 13 bye comes up!!

Alternatively, I would be happy to trade broughton for a rookie but the only one that stands out is Mohr ... then i have to many GWS rookies ...

So hence looks like no trade and watch round 2.  Heppell scores about 13 more points so not jumping out as an option either.
Adcock, Shaw, Newman ... why bother ... just another roller coaster ride!

Windigo

I'm keeping him.

But seriously, WTF is his role at Freo. 1st QTR he played exclusively midfield and dominated.

The next 3 he just floated around half back with like a few VERY brief stints as follower. He wasn't tagging anyone I don't think. Only tag going on was on Stephen Hill.

Juddster5

You guys are a little to impatient if you are trading him out after just 1 performance. Did anyone see his NAB cup scores?

pretty sure they put him in a lockdown role on Stevie J, good coaching move imo being Stevie was kept quiet...

shower for us but i dont see too many other freak forwards like that, so it will be a rarity
