I'm the opposite, didn't have buddy until yesterday when gray wasn't named so i got in buddy for him. Problem is that i downgraded birchal to grimes so i could afford to do so and birch pumped out a 114 ao grimes had better fire.

never doubt a superstar, than trade out the biggest Dt superstar ever.  Not a bad choice but lets hope swanny goes 150 next week.

It's not the end of the world my friend - look at  it this way - He probably only scored 30-40 more than your next premium fwd.

For everyone who has Shaw he scored 50-60 less than other premium defenders.

All those with Swan lost 30 points to most other elite midfielders this round.

You can't win em all make him your first upgrade target, only takes a couple of quiet games at 80 - 90 and you'll at least get him cheaper.

DON'T panic and sideways trade him in early.

so glad then i started franklin and pendles , and just as important didnt start shaw or swan :D

I learnt my lesson when i didn't start with him last season.

Buddy was the first player locked in my team. Then Ablett then Cox.

The reason is that no-one can match up on him. It takes 2 or 3 players to stop him so even if he has a bad quarter he'll bounce back.

Plus he's such a gun.

wasn't sure of who to go in between Pendles and Swanny, both players are superstars but I'd say Pendles is more reliable but I'll probs have both in my team by the end of the season bare injuries
