cant see why you wouldnt want to bring in a true premium to you mids when you already have ward and a very inconsistant rocky. There is a reason gibbs is so cheap, he hasn't cracked a ton in last 5 games :o even with murphy going down he would need to have a huge lift in his performance to hold down any spot in your mids

Ziplock

I know right?

Basically, this season is a write off for me at this point.

So, it's all or nothing.

this will work.

Yeah I agree, but seeing as you're willing to take these kind of risks I don't know why you sold Gaff..? Has been solid ever since. Some might say it was a gaff selling him :P

Ziplock

it looked like he had topped out- his BE was pretty much on his average, and he isnt averaging enough to be a keeper- that's the function of mid pricers after all :P

I liked that pick of yours at the start of the year, really an Eagles mid-pricer whether it was Gaff or Shuey or Masten was worth the roll of the dice when they had easy early fixtures.

Are you bringing in Sexton and/or Darley this week..?

Ziplock

I actually picked a lot of really good midpricers... but then freaked a bit early (once again), and dropped them too early.

I traded bugg for darley this week and upgraded the bane of my existence (cornes) to robinson.

Too right, but you've traded in some experimental mid-pricers as well, can only start with them I think - or at least that's the lesson I've learn this season. I did Ablett -> Ziebell hoping Ziebell's early form would continue. The very next week sold him on for Swan :P It happens! (but not next season!!)

Good trades for this week, Bugg -> Darley is a no brainer.

Ziplock

captain ablett carried me this round lol.

2110

am hating on rockliff pretty bad, bummed pendles got injured, annoyed at conca/ hargrave.

Colliwobblers

sounds like my team Zip, all of that plus heater swan and horse similar score too, no thanks to the speculative idiotic choice of sidebottom for captain....

Ziplock

yeah I had horesly as well lol.

Ziplock

Ok, well, I'm slowly clawing my way up the rankings after wasting 8 trades early in the season ( :'( ) It's been a good learning experience for me, sitting just out of the top 15k atm, really aiming for a late  charge into the top 10. Just used 2/3 of my remaining trades to get in swanny, leaving me with just 1 for finals.

My finished team, after much flowering around is

B: Deledio, Scotland, Goddard, Waters, Heppell, Broughton, Carrazzo (S Shaw, Darley)
M: Boyd, Swan, Thompson, Ablett, Rockliff, Pendlebury (Gibson, Couch)
R: Giles, Griffin (Redden, Campbell)
F: Beams, Sidebottom,  Pavlich, Robinson, Franklin, Martin, Zorko (Porplyzia, Adams)

I'm pretty happy with it, keeping porps as back/ mid cover. Obviously my rucks are my weak point, but I can't really do much about that now.

anyway, I'm... hopeful :P

11.9k remaining and 1 trade.

PowerBug

Good luck staying above me Zip, i'm only 5k behind you (ranked 20k) and closing in quickly. :D

Swan may be the thing that saves you. ;)

Spinking

Good luck Zip. Rumor floating around about an Ablett injury. Fingers crossed there is no substance to it then  ;)

so after round 2 I made some very... interesting... decisions.

Dangerfield---> Cornes

Dangerfield scored average against two incredibly weak opposition that were both flogged- honestly, with the exception of GWS and Melbourne, at this stage I don't like his odds of tonning up. While Cornes was back in his HB DT slut role, and looks up there with his best.

game on :P

What  ::)

Dangerfield went on to ton it up 6 more times with two of those time he cracked 140 and 142
While Cornes tonnes it up once and had 6 scores under 75

I guess if you could reverse that trade now you would!

Ziplock

yeah I know, one of the worst trades ever.

it just all made sense....

but fmdt. lol.
