Which option?

1. Birchall, M.Clarke, Couch (who gives me a DPP link)
2. Shaw, Smedts, Couch
3. Shaw, Smedts, Ledger
4. Adcock, M.Clarke, Ledger

Thanks!

Zorko v Pf v Couch (are there any other MID/FWD rookies to play in R1)

Not sure why everyone is so keen on Mid/FWD rookies... It won't really be an issue w/ the bye will it?

Now that you can trade using DPP I don't see the issue. I don't see the issue really. It's a big risk starting with any of those 3. Zorko should be back around 4 (off the top of my head)

So why not get a PLAYING rookie in rd1 then rd6-7 before Zorko rises in price trade him in then. The biggest thing keeping Zorko out is injury so he should get a run eventually.

However what are you going to do if Pf, Zork or Couch don't get games until like rd 7-8? Better off having a different rook accumulating
Great answer. That's what I was thinking as well.

Cheered!  ;)

Only problem is I have 2 spots to fill and I don't think there are any playing Rookies left...'

Mid Rookies: Wingard, Shiel, Magner, Smith, Hampton - Need 1 more.

Fwd Rookies: Smedts, Hall - Need 1 more.

Mids - considered Paul Seedsman? Is at least playing. Though him being a sub is yuck, could be similar to Buckley last year.

I'd say your Couch etc. would be likely subs when debuting.

Forward Rookies: Dickson, Jackson Paine, Terry Milera

mids only have room for 4 prems cant split the 5 boyd ablett swan pendles thompson who to drop?
rooks: coniglio magner mcdonald shiel

money not an issue

edit: CHEER!!!

Sto you got to hit the cheer above my name :P

I personally would take out of those 5 if you want pure scoring power: Boyd, Ablett, Swan and Pendles.

I know NAB form is really nothing to go on but what if Swan has that 5-6 form slump like last year and needs Arizona or similar. Swan needs to average MORE than he did last year to maintain his price...

Therefore I'd consider going in with Boyd, Ablett, Pendles and.......... ROCKLIFF - he's a beast.

hahah sorry done!
i'm gonna go with my gut ablett pendles boyd thomo

If you're going for overall you're going to run into HUGE bye issues for rd 11.

Boyd, Thommo, Shiel, JMac and Conig.

yeah true but jmac shiel or conig should be upgraded by then prob 2 of

wont be looking at rockliff with the rd 11 bye then.
i guess either watson or swan?

Thanks Nails. Took Dickson for the Forward line, still looking for a Mid though... Are there any more?  :'(

If not I'll have to go someone who isn't playing...

Zombie2.5

Oh yeah and for last mid spot : Pendles, Boyd, GAJ, _______(Selwood atm), Coniglio, Shiel.
Possibly:
Selwood, Rocky, Redden (one year shudnt be premo status), Thommo and Mitchell.
Dont really worry bout byes, just scoring potential.
Selwood is up and coming captain and hes still young, can only improve
Rocky and Redden brokeout last yr but, have a feeling gona have a similar/weaker year
Thommo has great draw and is a gun, worried he will go missing sometimes and not score as well some games.
Mitchell is a gun no doubt but hes turning 30 and the younger options might be better choices with them improving

P.S. ill give you another cheer when i can later on!

I personally would go either 1 or 3... don't really like either but if I had to choose no.1 matter of Clarke vs. Smedts.

Out of those 2: Duff

Though I'd probably go Golby or Gimes (if a risky man) over Duffield

Watson and upgrade to Swan later, you have plenty of captain options.

The thing is though, if you're upgrading rd 11 > say rd12/13 bye, what are you going to do once that rd12/13 player's bye is? You have to trade them out or another player with that bye!
