Oh crap I forgot to mention, it makes me go from Swan to Pendlebury. But I'm happy with that.

How many premium mids will you then have if you include Thompson? Do you have any midpricer mids?

If the answers are 4 and none/1, then do it

Thompson will easily be a better choice than Gia in an overall sense of things.

I have been so tempted as well to bring in that fourth premium midfielder but I just don't think it is worth it as there are lots of good midfield rookies this season.

Well this makes 5 premium midfielders lol. So it's stacking the deck. I would get another prem back, but I can't take Ellis off :(

My mids would be Pendles, Ablett, Boyd, Selwood, Thompson, Conglio

Or

Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Selwood, Conglio, C.Smith

Have a crack at the 5 prem mid. It's a bit like the 3 rookie ruck strategy. This is the year to mix it up. Like the winner (of SC) did last year, he traded hard early and took risks with players. Just do it, I reckon. Go the extra premo mid and open up the gap on your competitors early on.

BTW, I think we need to put you on a restricted post per day plan. This addiction is getting out of control whatlez.
