Also: What I learn so far this round:

- Richmond will finish 9th  ;D ;D
- Carlton are far from a top 4 side ... Collingwood, Geelong and Hawthorn are well ahead ... so are the Eagles for that matter
- Gibbs is good but will still score just over 100
- Scotland may be not focused due to his court case .... not that i picked him
- People overreact with Ellis and Morris ... first game ... give them a chance (50ish from Ellis was ok in the end)
- Cotchin is all class
- GWS are entertaining ... but will get flogged
- Yarran may be a consist mid 90s averaging player in defence ...
- Martin is overrated ... glad i got rid of him for Chapman to be more unique
- Giles will be a solid second ruck until you can upgrade him  - the three rookie strategy is working ... so far!
- Goodes is easing into things .... watch for a big score in the next few weeks
- Judd needed a preseason ... but will come good as he is a champion
- Simpson and Bolten are very safe picks to average around the 95-103 mark
- DPP are very useful when you get two bench dwellers like Parker and McDonald.
- The 3 part lockout gives us a change to adjust our structure team based on injury, form, vested players, trends, umpiring, suspensions etc based on the first few games - this opportunity will be wasted by some.

I love how you say dont judge ellis and morris on one game but then say martin is overrated because of one game. Hypocrite!!!

"Your Welcome" for the sharing my research may have been a little bit more appropriate ... is that really the most intelligent comment you had to make!

Martin is not a 1st year player ... he still can't handle a tag ... will score ok this year but will not be the 110+ averaging player most people seem to think based on the number of teams i have seen him in.

Ellis and Morris were playing on Betts and Gartlett i believe ... not an easy task in your first game ... just saying they should be given at least 1 game to settle into AFL footy.

But feel free to trade away if you have them in your team ... and don't forget to make Martin your captain next week!!

cortez

bahahahahaha! Im not saying trade anyone or make martin captain you goose. all im saying is you cant judge players on one game. its one game. could have been a good one, could have been a bad one. you just dont know. give it a couple more weeks before you strart making claims like martin is overrated. he still scored 90. if he scores 120 next week his average is up to 105. patience is a virtue    8)
