considering he spends pretty much his whole life devoted to dream team, this team is almost embarrassing. and this is why.

Lee Spur- He is still yet to be elevated, and Lyon has strongly indicated that Clancee Pearce is likely to get the last spot with Michie being placed on the long term injury list, meaning Spur is unlikely to play any time soon.

The fact that he is starting with 4 premium mids is in my opinion just madness. Mid rookies are the rookies that go up the most in price, and with him only starting with 4 meaning he will score well in the short term, but in the long term, he will not be able to premiums as quickly and as easily as others. It is also quite stupid starting with pendles as well as boyd, because their prices will at some stage during the year go down almost 50k and this will be the time to get them.

Goodes will also only average at most 90 for the first half of the year considering he always scores so much better in the second half of the season, making him a great upgrade option, and not a starting option.

Its not that his team is terrible, but considering the amount of work he would have put into his team in my opinion he should have done better, and he will feel a bit depressed again, with him probs ending up around the 10,000th mark overall.

We all know what he is thinking!

SIDEWAYS              TRADE                       SIDEWAYS              TRADE                       SIDEWAYS              TRADE                       SIDEWAYS              TRADE

Oct16 - agree with Boyd and pendles, not sure I agree with not having 4 premium mids does depend on structures

Mezzoculo - spot on what was it last year Boyd to Watson talked it up like he was a genius, dr dt reminds us all how not to play this game

sideway trades are quite unproductive, and a waste of trades. u may aswell start with the premiums that u are goingto keep until the end of the year, and after some of the byes upgrade the rest of ur rookies to premiums that have already had their byes.

oc16 there's really nothing wrong with starting 4 premium mids :) if I could, I would but I only have 3 super premiums and a gun mid-price/premium midfielder :) Boyd and Pendlebury will feature in a lot of teams... unfortunately not mine but I'd choose either over swan anyday to start with, without hesitation! that extra money is gold!

Truth be told is that the good old Doctor smashed most of you guys for the first 3 qtrs of last year.

To be honest his team isnt too bad. There are a few people I wouldn't pick but players like Dal Santo are original and you have to get original in some areas to win.

Thanks to the DT Talk boys I've changed my team up a bit as I had the same forward line as the 3 of them. Which means that about 3000 people would have copied it. So now i've added a couple riskier options to beat the pack.

When do you see their prices dropping 50k?

Pendles has a "semi" tough couple of first up games in Hawks, Rich and Carlton. But then its Port, Essendon, Bulldogs, Brissie, Cats, Adelaide, Gold Coast and Melbs before the bye. Only a couple of tough games there.

and Boyds is Eagles, Adelaide, Saints, Melbourne, GWS, Collingwood, North, Gold Coast, Cats and Sydney.

Not just has he only left 4 spaces for Rookies, two of them are Mid/Fwd DPP's. :-\

I don't like how this guy is saying don't start for 4 prem mids. What have you started Shiel and got 36?

Whether we started Shiel or not is irrelevant, he'll still make money in the long run. DT isn't a one week game. :)

I personally have 3.5 premiums, Boak being the fourth, and Coniglio is the only starting rookie on my side. :)
