trading is now a 2-step process this year, not just a direct trade like last year
This.

You trade out player A.
Make any necessary DPP changes.
Then trade in player B

Scenario - trade Goddard out for Swan...

Starting team:
DEF: Goddard, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah.
MIDS: Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, JMac.            <---    No DPPs here

Trade scenario:
Step 1 - trade out JMac:
DEF: Goddard, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah.
MIDS: Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, empty.            <--- No trade used used here (JMac out)

Step 2 - activate Goddard's DPP:
DEF: Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, empty.
MIDS: Goddard, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah.     <---   Goddard moved into empty mid position

Step 3 - trade in Swan for Goddard:
DEF: Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, empty.
MIDS: Swan, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah.          <---  First trade used here (Goddard - Swan)

Step 4 - trade in defender to fill gap:
DEF: Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, L.Spurr.           <---  (JMac replaced with L.Spurr)
MIDS:Goddard, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah.

Hopefully that helps.
There you go, all fixed!
