What type of role is he playing?? Is he one of the best players for that role?? I'm probably going to swap him for C. Smith because i think he'll have better job security and then i'll also get McDonald's score.

Once he is fit and gets selected i think his JS will be good enough to have him as a cash cow. i reckon he will play a similar role to Ballantyne in the past.
I read an article today that said Smith and Dixon will be playing this weekend.

Lyon likes the look of him and he allow Ballantyne to run through the middle by playing his small forward position. I'd say his JS is reasonable though he's not a huge unit so injuries are a risk and as with all small forwards scores could vary from 20-120....

You could pick a worse rookie but I wouldn't do it just to get J-Mc score.

I think his JS is reasonably good. I think they want to interchange him and Balla from the forward pocket and mids.

Ross Lyon loves him, so i reckon he'll get some games into him and he should be a great cow as shown in NAB, Lyon loving him doesnt hurt his chances at all.

Good pickup if you can afford the 1 or 2 round wait, he'll probs play round 2 if not one.

It's either Neale or C. Smith. If Neale hadn't got injured i would have had him over Smith anyday; the only reason i got rid of him was because i thought he was going to be out for a while. Considering he might be back rnd 1 and if not very likely rnd 2, why not get him? Plus if he doesn't play this weekend it's an added bonus because i get JMacs score.

as a shockers fan im not confident of him playing week to week. maybe 12 games spread across the season. alot of competition for spots at freo barring injuries

he's got a pretty solid build for a first year player and the coach is a fan of him so can't see why they would move him in/out every week seeing as the young guys need all the games they can get into them, only worrying thing is that Lyon is a bit notorious for not blooding the young talent..  :-X
