Hey everyone,

I was just wondering how many people either had a fwd/mid mpp link in their mids or a back/mid mpp in their mids or maybe both. I'm not sure whether to forego better rookies for the flexibility of MPP when it won't be as important as last year. Thoughts?

I have MID - FWD but only because there are 2 reasonable rookies in both positions otherwise I forgo it and stick to quality rookies. With a bit of luck it may prevent 1 donut during byes otherwise hardly worth the effort.

I got one in SC (Dangerfield). I did the same thing last year with Adam Goodes and found that it gave me flexibility and also gave me the option to upgrade an additional quality midfielder later in the season (moved goodes to the forward and a rookie to the mids, then upgraded the rookie mid for swan). Hopefully it works again this year

Don't think it's AS necessary this year. But it's still handy to have.

You can do that without a DPP this season - new trading rule change .

I have Kennedy in my midfield and Couch and Smith in me forward line. Wont need to use the dpp for guns, but it might come in handy being able to swing those 3 rooks around. Especially with Jmac getting a few weeks.

Not for me. At one stage I had the old Magner/Couch combo in my mid bench though.

i think Parker and McDonald getting injured highlights the need for this!!!

I have now swapped Mitchell for chapman to give me this extra flexbility and also put in Pfeiffer for Magner.

Now i have serious cover for these blokes and won't get tempted to burn trades if a magner for example isn't picked!

I have devon smith, because i dont rate the mid rookies that much and i loaded my forward line. I dont care about DPP now but i have big plans for the byes to use it and Smith is the key to that.

If zorko can step it up before than i will simply go smith to zorko, but i think its better to be safe just in case.
