Ben is a good bloke with a problem that could happen to anyone. Just because your a parent shouldn't completely embitter you to his plight.

hate to say it but i think he'll end up dead soon. feel sorry for the guy.....obviously has spiralled out of control. apparently he is in a more long term form of drug psycosis

there's probably hundreds of thousands of guys more addicted than him, they just aren't followed around by journoes waiting for him to have red eyes so than can get an "exclusive scoop"

I seriously don't get how people can still feel sorry for him... Yes he is addicted but you have to start to become addicted...

I hope those same people, don't look down but feel sorry for every lowlife junky they pass on the street.....seems to be a lot of inconsistency with feeling sorry for him.....just because he played football.

This tends to be my attitude also, but having said that everyone deserves a proper chance of recovery. But given Cousins, who has much more resources than most, has had quite a few chances, my sympathy for him has run out.

I have the most sympathy for his little baby and his partner, the poor kid can't even crawl yet & will have to cope with this stuff all her life in one form or another. I wish Ben and all addicts all the best, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

As an aside I saw two unrelated stupid headlines this morning.

The first was Ben Cousins "I've got nothing to say" - great journalism that one.

The second was "Mitch Clark speaks". I hadn't been aware he'd had problems on this front in the past.
