Just posted this in SC but thought it was releavnt here as well. I've had Marc Murphy as a lock in my midfield all pre-season. I figured he is consistent, durable and a definite for the top 6-7 midfielders for the season.

So when I read this today I start to have second thoughts. Running around with the injured players & missing the last training session isn't my ideal situation for a midfield premium.

Is what Carrazo is saying PR or do we think there is a problem?

Is it just me or does that article say the Tigers, not the Blues, have been tipped to finish in the top four this season.

Lol - fail - won't happen.

Bak2Form

as a Richmond supporter id be happy to see Murphy miss. and think they are differently getting way to carried away talking about top 4. lets try for top 8 first lol

Check teams tonight.

I'm confident he'll play tomorrow, it's just what he is carrying into the season which concerns me a little.

According to the article, Murph trained yesterday...

Bit of fear-mongering before lockout.  :P

Just read the article and said he trained with the injured group as he does quite regularly during the season day before matchday . Maybe you should read the article instead of the headline before scaring people that have him and also diehard Carlton supporters!!

If you read my initial post I was asking whether people believed Carazzo or whether he was speaking Club PR.

I don't care about Carlton (and that's putting it nicely) but I'm trying to assess a DT player who I've had as a lock for many weeks in my midfield because I rate him.

Fox sports said although he didn't train today, he will be fit to play Thursday night!

Yeah he was walking laps? ???

If we can wait an hour, all will be revealed!

He'll play no doubt I reckon but as I said I more worried about any niggles he might be carrying into the season. Think I'll still go with him though.

In the article it says he never trains the day before the game, today is the day before the game hence he isnt training...

i guess he becomes a better upgrade target for some, that way u can monitor his fitness for 6-7 weeks then decide. and its not like he will go up much more, infact probably get him cheaper if u time it right.
