LRT and Reid are both going to find it hard to play finals, Rohan would have to be a very outside chance. Cant see him playing any less than 5-6 weeks in the reserves.

I really hope this doesn't mean we end up playing Jesse White during finals  :-X

Vinny

Doc Larkins reckons Reid will be out for 6-8 weeks just in time for finals. LRT is listed as indefinite for the knee.

Capper

yep reid 6-8 weeks

LRT cant even run on a treadmill yet  >:(

Shaw a chance but Jetta is still out

The Rooster comes back to the 2s

Mailman the 2nd

I'm pretty sure those injuries mean we're booked in for 3-5 spot on ladder unless Geelong or Hawthorn sustain major problems

I would love to see them give membrey a chance over the next few weeks. We know what White can do, but not this kid.

Imagine if he could come out and play like Darling did to start with??

Would love to see him, but he hasn't been exactly dominating the reserves  :-\

Sam Reid is out but some massive ins

Tim Membrey, Jesse White, Harry Cunningham, Xavier Richards.

Memmy in for his first game along with Cunners back after his knee injury, XR and White also in and named on the bench.
Will be interesting to see who gets the nod.

tbh with Tippett coming in they don't really need Sam Reid, however obviously with Goodes out for a bit it would have been good to have him in ... i just think Reid was at risk of becoming 'depth' up forward without the current fwd-line injury list ... i saw one commentator (can't recall exactly who) raise the idea that Swans should consider whether they might swing him into defence??

Yeh good point. I can see them doing that, but i dont think that he will spend alot of time down back though.

On other news The Rooster has pulled up well after playing on the weekend

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-07-14/rohan-returns-for-reserves

QuoteGARY Rohan is confident of his chances of returning to senior football in 2013 after he made a successful return from his long injury layoff on Sunday.

Almost 15 months since he suffered a badly broken leg on his home ground, Rohan played around 40 minutes in the second half of the Sydney Swans' reserves game against the UWS Giants at the SCG.

Used in eight-minute bursts off the bench, the popular redhead finished with 10 possessions, three marks and two goals, showing plenty of willingness to get involved in the physical play.

There are no plans for Rohan to play senior football this year and his coach John Longmire only hopes the youngster pulls up well.

But a beaming Rohan was talking up his hopes of getting back into the reigning premiers' side before the year is out.

"I reckon I could yeah," he said.

"I'll try to get the game fitness in the reserves and I'm sure I could play seniors.

"I pulled up well."
Although Horse didnt want to push Rohan to far too early

Just watched this on Swans TV and noticed that the runner in the 2s looked familiar.
