Matty Kreuzer as No.1 Ruckman?

I haven't watched any of Carlton's pre season games but alot of people are saying Matty Kreuzer is flying. I'm starting to believe the big hype and am considering starting him as my number one ruckman along with Giles. This frees up alot of $$$$ to use elsewhere.

My question...will Kreuzer average somewhere near Big Cox, Mummy or Sandilands?

He may be flying at the moment but how will he be going when warnock returns in a few rounds and takes the majority of the ruck duties and Kreuzer gets shoved up forward

Love the big guy but you should consider him as number 2 ruck this season.

I don't know how reliable this bit of information is but they were talking about Kreuzer on the SEN dreamteam show on Monday night/Tuesday morning and they said that Warnock will struggle to get back into the team with both Kreuzer and Hampson flying. Also mentioned that Kreuzer would be playing alot more ruck this year with Hampson up forward and Warnock cooling his jets in the VFL.

Well if thats the case Kruezer would be a great pick but I highly doubt that is the case Warnock is a much better ruckman than Hampson and probably still just ahead of Kreuzer when it comes to actual rucking.

that is more accurate than Kruze spending more time forward.

IMO this yr he might avg somewhere bwt 75-85, next yr he could explode and be the next Coxy. He has the frame just think one more preseason to build a tank like the big Cox

I currently have Kreuzer as second ruck with Cox first at the moment, but contemplating downgrading him to Stephenson or someone else cheap (have Giles and Redden on the bench). With that extra cash I could get Dangerfield in the fwds in place of Dickinson.
If Kreuz is only going to average 75-85 this year then that makes sense to me.

Good move or not do you think?
