What to do if we had Bugg and Kennedy on the bench

I'm guessing a very large amount of people have either one or both of these players, both for me, sitting behind spud scores like Cameron and Smith. I know how the loophole works and have traded out Pfeiffer for Zorko (who has said on his twitter he will be right to play AFL footy round 2-3) which looks great, but are there any good backline rookies and rookie-priced players to trade in for Clarke so I get Buggs 103, or is it not worth it?

Kuruki

if you can get the right rookie then it is worth it. But for me the right rookie was Darley and you can't touch him. So it's probably not worth the risk. You are not missing out on 100 points you are missing out on the difference between his score and the rookie you have on field. Think about it like that and it's not that big of a deal.

mezzoculo

If I was a religious man, then i would see this as a sign from the almighty buddha to start the season with Zorko.

Colliwobblers

it's not worth the risk, im going zorko in SC as i hedged my bets started Bugg in DT and SC but started kennedy in DT and Smith in SC, So i'm getting Zorko in because i wanted him anyway and also Voss said he is fit just needs match fitness, so a game or two in the magoo's and he'll be in.

Defense I think morris will play ellis definately will, Guthrie ? not sure for the cost or the JS there are some great options for Defensive rooks but all with uncertain JS so missing round 1 wouldn't tempt me to get them in.

PowerBug

Colin Sylvia anyone?? I'm considering it to get Kennedy's scores.

Didn't he fracture vertebrae, PB? Its Zorko or bust, IMO.

PowerBug

Did he? I thought he was just suspended for Rd 1. :-\

Memphistopheles

The only real option to get Bugg's points into your backline is Nathan Bock IMO.

And even that would be quite a risk to get in just for the sake of 40-50 points (once you consider what the person he replaces scores). Who knows Ellis might crack the ton as well.

I copped Prestia's bench hundred last season so can take Bugg's this season.

Windigo

Not really worth the few points unless your absolutely craving those extra points. Whose to say Ellis won't slay a ton?

...the blues ;)

but ye still REALLY want the points....whose to say zorko wont play more games then hall/dickson (and score better!) even though he is not named rd1...

remember rockliff couple of years back, missed rd 1 selection due to back i think then play rd 3 onwards and averaged 80+ i think....voss has history :)

defence is tougher, best bet is if morris/ellis are not named, that or bock who imho wouldve been in many a team had he not been suspended (...including mine)

...my 2 cents
thoughts??????

Justin Bieber

I'm just thinking I'm going to ignore it. Only if I can be guaranteed Zorko will play rd 2.

Jukes

Yeah I don't think it's worth it getting in a premium-priced player to get that 100, like Beams in the forward line. That 500k could be spent on a player who will get over 116.

Zorko should be a lock for those who have Kennedy EMG, and you should keep whoever you have in the backline seems to be the general thoughts. Going thadda way.

pinochio

i agree jukes about zorko ye!!!

cant really be guaranteed lol, think i read zorko won like 4 b&f and was like a superstar young gun... ???

now what to do about buggs tonne, wait on teams me thinks :) (would be spastic if zorko is named come thursdi)

Jukes

Yeah if Ellis or Clarke aren't named need we not worry as they'll be playing a lot later on this season and it'd avoid us partaking in a massive structure overhaul.
