Shiel better step up next week, im going to have to play him now.

I would love shiel to be dropped, just for next week only, to see if people have to burn some early trades, would be interesting :P

VC loophole with rocky/scotland for me next week, so not the end of the world...

good thing i have smith in the mids so can use my DPP :)

He should pump out a 70 or 80

he is playing the mighty roos, GWS might not touch the ball.
Sorry Holz but that the funniest thing i have read today.

Dunny matter i would play Magner over him anyway  ;)

I wonder whether people would actually care if it was someone like Roberts-Thomas copping two weeks.  :P

elephants

It's okay. While it sucks for his increase in value I have...

Coniglio + Magner to start and Shiel as emg.

the only thing that made it high was Parker's head wobble from the impact, bump was excellent...

Ok guys.......

I'll rundown why the MRP gave the sentence they did

It was high contact - Yes, it was high. Hence why Parker's jaw is broken and why they were checking his teeth.

High Impact - Yes you can bump legally at high impact, but not at someones head

Negligent- Obviously he you even watched the game, you'd know his eyes were only on Parker, he had a while to size up the bump.

As for you Auscoyote, if you want to see people get injured. Watch fake wrestling for christs sake. This is protecting the players from serious injury, not from their mum's complaining.

Mcdonald helped create the panel, he pleaded guilty straight away and didn't fight it at all. Did you see Sheedy fight it?

He obviously didn't think he was hard done by.

Yes these bumps look cool in a highlights package, but they're illegal, today or 10 years ago.

Therefore, he gets suspended

MM is dead right, High Negligent contact. Fractured his jaw. Was always going to get weeks, you would be stupid to think otherwise. Maybe if goodes could deliver a handball it wouldnt have been as bad, but still. McDonald was no where near the ball and only had eyes on parker.

Sure a bump like that inspires a young team, they see an old experienced player lay someone out like that. GWS were fine with the punishment. Good to see big hits, but not when it injures someone. Head high contact is something that could affect a player for the rest of his life.
