Please select one of the options in the poll...i ready have ablett and selwood (and i cant afford pendles).

Please vote :)

Can't go wrong with Marc Murphy or Swan for consistency.

Swan will sometimes pull out bigger scores than Murphy though.

But i would be taking one of these two...

Ringo

Depends whether you want to take a risk or be conventional. One to consider outside the list is Griffen from the Dogs maybe unleashed more this year and rival Boyd.

Looks like Pendlebury becoming a POD this year.

I think the obvious pick is Swan, assuming you think he can match Pendles/Ablett at a discount.  Otherwise M.Murphy.

Think he will be in most teams by season end Charlie. I think the majority who are not picking him from the start believe he is overpriced and will fall in value similar to Ablett last year and will pick him up when he bottoms out. So he probably is a POD from Round 1.

charliesheen

IMO, Pendlebury is not overpriced he is priced at what he should average in 2012.  Personally, I feel most people are ditching him because other people are.

Also, if you take two round 12 midfielders initially (say Selwood & Swan), you are pretty much eliminating Pendlebury as an upgrade.

Torress

pendles locked i'll see swanny after the byes and after arizona.

i voted watson here mate, i know he has soft tissue issues, but bombers midfield is getting better so they should be able to support him more this year. watson has a strong SOS for 1st 9 rounds as well. problem is atm i've got watson ahead of selwood as a POD. and i'm pretty sure i'll keep it that way  :o

end of the day its really a much of a muchness with the uppeer tier prems. i think murphy will hit elite so you couldn't go wrong there mate. but its expensive for you with pendles, gazza and jelwood locked in there.

can't go wrong with boyd - but with the higher points allocated for clangers, ect - with the doggies lack of targets forward of centre half it might slightly hurt him as he is known to butcher the ball a bit?

Clanger points are the same as last year, which is an improvement from 2010.  Dogs are also playing a more possession heavy game plan.

Saying that, I think Boyd is getting close to his ceiling.

Torress

cheers charles - i started boyd last year and it was an awsome ride. but i let him down by starting jack last year and selwood.

if it is DT i'd lock boyd in no doubt about it, especially on form.

Watson. Underpriced due to injury. Look at his first 7 rounds last season.

Priddis continues to get the job done, yet not many people are interested.

Thanks for the responses guys! A lot of different opinions haha

I added ryan griffen to the poll, any takers?

Looks like boyd just over swan at the moment
