I'm a bit lost on what to do with my team. Any advice?

Backs: Scotland, Suckling, Fisher, Mackie, P.Davis, K.Hunt, Bower (Mohr, Bugg)

Mids: Pendles, Boyd, Ablett, Goodes, Hogan, D.Shiel (J.McDonald, Cunningham)

Rucks: Cox, H-Mac (Giles, Redden)

Forwards: Franklin, Fyfe, Pavlich, N.Riewoldt, Porplyzia, Siposs, Horlin-Smith (A.Kennedy, Walsh)

90K in the bank

Main concerns are; lack of def/mid link, too many mid-pricers/rookies, H-Mac in the ruck (should I go another rookie and make Giles #1 and then use that money elsewhere?)

Any help would be appreciated!

Made some changes. Giles as #2 ruck and used the money to upgrade porpise to martin. Feel free to comment.

Scotland - court case pending so swap to Goddard
Mackie - better value elsewhere ... perhaps Waters/Yarran (not sure on price diff)
K.Hunt - no way mate .... stay clear ...
Get Ellis or Morris in the backline for sure!!

Hogan - will struggle to get games in my opinion
N.Roo - better off taking a gamble with Sidebottom or Dangerfield.

Needs some work in my option mate ... 7/10

Thanks mate! Hunt was never a keeper. I was hoping for a $100k price rise if he gets some time in the mids but I could get that from a rookie.

do you need it? a lot of good DPP rookies also. D.Smith, Pfiefer, Couch

DPP link is overrated.
a) DPP trade will be much more useful
b) What's the point of having one player covered for (most likely) one of the bye rounds, where you could be making an extra 10-30 points per round with a true mid elite???

Move Goodes to your fwds.

Also, here is a list of players in your team I would put a question mark over:
Fisher, Mackie, Bower, K Hunt, Davis
Hogan, Cunningham
Siposs, Horlin-Smith

Your backline could do with a lot of work (main problem is too many mid-pricers, and the wrong ones, like you said), as could the structure of your mids

+1 on DPP comments ... if you really want DPP then use a rookie.

Yeah I have those question marks too but I'm a bargain hunter! Better to be safe than sorry so I'll re-assess. Get some rookies and some premiums instead of a handful of mid-pricers.

Definately a different team and doesnt read to well first up.
Although the more you read through it the more it grows on you. i still think you have one or two many midpricers and i would look at getting in lids and/or goddard down back and look at martin/sidey/danger instead of roo who is past his best in my opinion. lot too work with hope you have the balls to stick with it!

If you look at the second post i turned porpise into martin already. Roo had a bad year last year but that doesn't mean he's gonna have another bad one this year. There's no way I'm bring heath shaw in. I had Lids but I traded him out when he did his hammy.

I'd like to move Goodes into the fwd line for Pav and then trade Pav for Lids but can't coz of partial lockout. Can't get rid of Davis either so I'm stuck with him but I'll back him in anyway.
Also backing in Roo to take care of business!
