I'm more concerned with how my "superstars" of Goodes and Mumford went, rather than how my benched rookies went. Thoughts?

cortez

your season is over mate. scores of 90 and 95 for two prems. say goodbye to 50k and any chance of finals of leagues let alone winning leagues.

thewizz

I appreciate the concern Cortez. Better go back to work tomorrow! Are we hyping up how superstars should go against the weaker teams?

cortez

seruously i woildnt be worried about goodes and mummy. why would they bust them selves when tbey dont have to? i learnt last year from teans playing goldcoast that instead of guns scoring 150+  against them it was more players scoring  between 100-130. the lesser players scores increase more than the guns so stress both will be fine.

thewizz

Not concerned about them as individuals  :). Concerned about the huge scores we expect people to get because they are playing the Giants or the Suns  ???

Torress

mate cortez is right. look at the other ''seasoned'' swannies who scored well.. there are quite a number of them up and over 100 or around it. many individual players would beat their opponent so to speak, winning more points. i'm glad goodes actually got to 90!! could of been far worse!! he as a good SOS and he'll lift. so will mummy

and you can't just simply believe that due to the fact a team plays GC or GWS that certain players will automatically dominate. in a way its a chance for the coach to see who can step up in a role or position as they are confident of the four points. so their extra slice of the pie is distributed evenly in most cases - but lets wait for buddy!!!!  prob will be the biggest buddy show ever!

I dunno, I don't think davis is a bad match up for franklin.

Look at the positives, Mummy and Goodes "cruised" through that game and got 90s, When they go off as they will then you can smile ;-)
